Her Mother

"Come..." Leon gently led her to his study and sat her down on the couch. He walked over to one of his bookshelves, pulling a book down from the top shelf. "Here... I checked the pages before. It's still the same. I mean, the future is still blank."

Emma took the book from his hand, flipping through the pages until she stopped at the one where they were getting married. Her cheeks flushed, reddening as the memories started flooding back, as if it had just happened.

"We did it like... what?!" She turned to look at Leon, her voice was a mix of surprise and embarrassment.

"Well..." Leon grinned, "We were a bit too passionate, I guess..."

"Passionate? The whole week? I might end up in an emergency room, bro!" Emma's eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh, fortunately you didn't," Leon teased, "and this bro here is a gentleman, sis." He chuckled, landing a playful peck on her parted lips before sitting down beside her.
