Time Skip

Emma takes a deep breath, stepping closer to Leon with urgency in her voice. "Okay, listen. You've noticed it, haven't you? How days, even weeks, pass in the blink of an eye if nothing important happens. How you go to bed one night, and suddenly it's days later like nothing in between mattered. That's the proof."

Leon frowned, crossing his arms defensively. "What are you talking about? Time doesn't just… skip."

"Yes, it does!" Emma shot back, her eyes fierce. "It's not natural, Leon. This world isn't real… it's a story. Nothing happens unless it's part of the 'plot,' and the rest of it just… fast-forwards."

She looked around the room, her mind racing. "Let me prove it to you."

Leon stared at her warily. "How?"

"By showing you how time skips. Right here, right now."
