Chapter 4: Aqua Hoshino

"Your wish is my command, Shion... enjoy your new life."

With his few last words, he turns his sword into a cane and it hits the ground hard, causing a huge shockwave in the place and an explosion of light hovers over my eyes... leaving me unconscious after my last choice I made in the supposed heaven of reincarnation.

And after this explosion, I felt as if my body had been pulled into a black hole, sucking me in and squeezing me at enormous speed... bearing in mind that this old body had been pierced by the void of universal unknowing that not even I, addicted to reflecting, theorizing and creating crazy analogies, could understand this nature.

She was dressed in pink lingerie with clear details... she'd possibly woken up a few minutes ago and had already come straight to my room, apart from the fact that my clothes were basic, consisting of a white T-shirt and long grayish-black shorts, we were both barefoot and hadn't fixed our faces until now.

"Let's get ready, you can relax little Ruby."

"Huh?! Hey! When did you start being nice out of the blue?"

Ruby, surprised by my attitude, ends up grabbing my left hand to stop me from walking to the bathroom, and my skin automatically electrocutes Ruby at a light level.

"Huh?! What's that shock?!"

Her eyes go wide, and she feels a little uncomfortable about the hand she used to grab me, and I'm speechless as I realize this... where I quickly look at my left hand and I can't feel anything strange flowing to cause this shock to Ruby.

Ruby's expression was one of internal confusion, watching me with a curious look as if she was about to ask me something.

However, she ended up saying her last words as she approached me slowly patted me on the back twice and walked out of my room.

"Come on, we need to get ready for the new school, Onii-chan."

A shock washed over my back, this touch, the way she touched me, and how her fingers ended up bending and coming out from behind me, was so... familiar.

My eyes turned to Ruby walking down the corridor to the bathroom and I could only think of one thing after that touch that brought me a mixture of nostalgia and strangeness.
