Chapter 6: In a Universal College

As I began to poke at each part of the panel, it suddenly created a huge padlock... and a large caption appeared right in the center, making a huge noise in my head

A gun quickly appeared in my right hand, my entire room was a reddish color like blood... several eyes were appearing all around and a clock was ticking in the center of the wall near the ceiling.

[8... 7... 6... 5...]

As I quickly notice the weapon, I realize it's the same weapon that a princess of time used in her battles... but wait, clocks, yellow eyes, and blood?

- BANG!

[Loading updates...]

My body began to tingle strangely, I felt a kind of liquid running through my veins and it didn't bother me.

The sweat on my body remained exposed, the tension was very high, and it took me six seconds to fire the shot to understand what had happened... and when I calmed down and looked at my wooden floor, an answer came.

"The system has made me the new sealing master, so Itsuka Shido won't exist in this universe."

My head thought about this sentence and I got out of bed so I could sit down and breathe after all this... a horror scene like this, no one would shoot themselves in the head, so I'm relieved that at least I'm familiar with these difficult and complicated situations since I was in heaven.

"Master of Lust? Um... well, what that man said when he showed that holographic woman and the question asked, it all fits together now."

I admired understanding every corner of this system, even with such low statuses, precisely because I was at an early stage and had only just been able to unlock a unique skill... it just made me want to enjoy every moment of it.

With a flick of my finger, I close the system and start to put on my uniform to leave for school with Ruby.

"I'm ready."

She ends up looking at me uncomprehendingly because it took me so long to get out of my room that it made her indignant, as we were almost late for school.

"You're very complicated, not even that could change you."

"That's part of it, I'm here now."

Ruby pursed her lips, explicitly dissatisfied with my answer, as she had expected me to arrive at the door much earlier.

"I'll pretend I heard that, let's go."

She hurries out of the house, but before I get out the door... I notice Miyako sitting in her chair working on her computer without saying a word.

However, I'd rather talk to her another time... I think I'll be in the way if I try to interact with her at the moment.

As Ruby and I walked along the sidewalk where the city was bustling and beautiful, my eyes were scanning what the system could offer me... and of course, only I could see the panels, no one else had visibility of them.

The sound of two mouse clicks appears in my mind, and a warning message appears right before my eyes, written in detail.

[Do 50 sit-ups, 50 jumping jacks, and run 10 kilometers on a large beach promenade].

A lower key? Do I have some kind of Lootbox? I remember hearing something similar to this word when I was asleep... by the way, it could be true.

I continued searching the system for an inventory, and in the bottom right-hand corner, there was the icon of a backpack... Furthermore, I clicked on it and discovered my stored items.

"I wasn't wrong, I did have something stored, and I didn't notice."

"Are you talking to someone, Aqua?"

I was a little startled by her voice and I closed my eyes to make my system disappear from my vision and talk to her.

"No, I was thinking that I had a spare cell phone in my drawer and I didn't pick it up."

"I see... it's normal to forget something, would you have used it for some purpose?

Ruby frowned, curious as to what I was going to do with the spare cell phone, so I answered in a more sincere tone.

"I usually use two cell phones to separate my things, both personal and professional... and as a beginner actor, I like to keep contacts on one cell phone and personal contacts on the other."

Ruby was very satisfied with my answer and didn't refuse to question me, since it also made sense to have two devices to separate segments of everyday things.

But what caught my eye... was that she still wanted to try to strike up a conversation, which didn't seem to be Ruby's way, as she always resented talking to me because she believed I wouldn't strike up a conversation with her.

Well, a part of my soul really hurt her heart... the insatiable search for my mother ended up making me cold.

"Aqua, I wanted to ask you something very important and serious, I want you to be honest with me."

I ended up listening to this with a lump in my throat, and I watched her eyes waiting for her answer.
