The Medical Hall

Yu Bing is running in full speed while office Zhou is catching his breath while following the young boy. They reach the medical hall, officer Zhou's legs are jelly like. He can't stand up straight and stand with the injured to catch his breath. While Hu Li rush in and look everywhere for the prison guard. She see no one but the scent of explosive material linger in the air. She spot the foot print on the floor. 

"Han Kong and Loon Tong, please help to trace where the foot print is going."

"Yes master!"

They leap out of her shirt and smell the print. They quickly disappear behind the curtain which is the back room. While Hu Li smell the scent of the explosive, her nose tells her that the person is still around but where. Office Zhou walk in with his jelly legs. He is still catching his breath and point to the empty wooden plank with ropes on it. 

"Yes most likely someone come by to take him but i think ... he should be around." 

She stop an assistant of in the medical hall. 

"Where is the person that is bought in by the Yamen?"

"I am not sure but i saw a person from Yamen come and untie him."

"How does he look like?"

"Oh.. he look something like you. Young and girl-like features."

Officer Zhou who is catching his breath wants to ask questions too but he can't say a word and his legs give way so he sit on the wooden plank bed. 

"Master!"

Hu Li squad down and pick them up. Officer Zhou for the first time, he swore that they are having some sort of conversations that he can't understand. That two rats that he know he have seen them in his residence where Yu Bing put them in a box. On Yu Bing's hands the two rats stand on their back legs. The front hands are swinging back and forth sometimes they turn half of the body to point the backroom. Office Zhou is finding it hard to comprehend what is going on and he look at Yu Bing. This boy is strange in every little thing he does. No matter how, now he need Yu Bing to help to arrest the mastermind. While Hu Li listen and understand. The backroom is all medicine there is no one hiding. However the footprints, have lead to the back and left through the back door. Hu Li knows one left and the other is still around this medical hall but where. 

Hu Li use her ears to listen closely if anyone is breath strangely. She only can hear Office Zhou which is still catching his breath. She use her hand to cover his nose.

"Breath through your mouth for now."

She listen closely again. There is an odd breathing sound but where is it. She look around and see a staircase. She put the two rats into her shirt pocket. 

"Officer Zhou sit here. I am going to walk upstairs."

Before she walk off, Officer Zhou hold her back by her sleeves and stare at her with his big eyes. 

"Wait for our men."

"No time. Just a quick look."

She walk up the stairs cautiously and look around. It's a storage room for papers and ropes. At the far end of the room, there is a wardrobe. The scent of sweat and explosive materials are coming from there. She put on her bells on her hands. and walk slowly to the wardrobe. She expected to have someone appearing before her any moment, instead she open the door of the wardrobe to find a man laying inside. His mouth and eyes are oozing with blood flowing out. She look at his arm, it's the prison guard. At that moment, two men from the Yamen come running up. Officer Zhou is struggling with the stairs. The sight of the man laying the wardrobe is unsightly. 

"Go get the physical up here now." 

Office Zhou walk nearer.

"Is he still alive?"

One of the men take out a mirror and put it neat the nose. The mirror catches the fog thus it shows that he is still breathing. The stairs become noisy as the physician and his assistance come upstarts. While Hu Li goes down stairs, she is sure that someone is watching and probably need to report. She look around to see a crowd of people standing around looking distress and some are crying. The medical hall is fill with sadness. She see a few men with straw hats walking past, they take a look and walk away. While at the far corner, a beggar who is siting stand up and walk away. Hu Li keep staring at the beggar, there is something odd about her. She look at the nearest Yamen guard. She request him to follow that female beggar and not allow her to know she is follow. That guard brings along two more men just incase they need to arrest someone. While inside, the injured prison guard is barely alive. They have to move him to a safe place but where. Office Zhou ask the physician to do his best. While he talk to his men and look around to see Yu Bing missing. He look downstairs to see her whispering to some of his men and they walk off. He knows she might find something and have to trust that Yu Bing will let him know.
