Chapter 4: Kunxu

Looking at the changes in the position of his palm, Zhang Yu couldn't help but think: "What does this mean?"

  "Willn't I die after it's filled up?"

Unfortunately, no one could answer Zhang Yu's anxiety at the moment.

After finishing the morning physical education class, Zhang Yu dragged his half-dead body to have lunch with Bai Zhenzhen and Zhou Tianyi, and then took a short rest before the afternoon class.

The first class in the afternoon was history class, and the teacher was an old man with white hair.

After the old man entered the classroom, he sat down at the podium, opened the book and began to explain casually.

As for whether the students in the audience were taking the time to rest, breathe, practice, or even leave the classroom to train their bodies, he didn't seem to care.

Zhang Yu was not interested in listening to the history teacher's lectures. He just flipped through the textbook quickly, constantly recalling the contents in his mind and trying to understand them based on his own memory.

"There is no country in Kunxu. Everything is monopolized and controlled by the ten major sects. Kunxu has thirty-six floors on the ground. The first floor is about the size of two Chinas. It is composed of cities of different sizes. Each The city is managed by a municipal government built by a major sect."

"Apart from the immortal world, the level of technology in the first layer seems to be about the same as in my previous life, but the lives of ordinary people seem to be much harder."

"The first floor of Kunxu is where Zhang Yu has lived all along. As for the floors above... he has only seen them in TV and movies."

According to what Zhang Yu remembered, only by being admitted to a university could one enter the second level of Kunxu, and only by graduating from university and joining a large sect could one reach a higher level.

It can be said that in Kunxu, only by mastering stronger immortal power and higher authority can one climb up step by step.

And the higher the level, the more abundant the spiritual energy is, the more advanced the immortal technology is, and the more abundant the various materials are.

When thinking about this, Zhang Yu couldn't help but look back out of the window, feeling the sunshine pouring down from the sky.

"Such a realistic sky and sunshine... Is this really inside some giant building?"

"The first floor is twice the size of China. How much space does the entire Kunxu occupy? It must not be on Earth anymore, right?"

"How did I come to this world?"

He unconsciously recalled the scene when he first came into this world, remembered the strange ritual, and then he felt dizzy again.

Zhang Yu quickly shook his head. Compared to these major events, high school grades, living expenses, making money, physical education classes... these things in front of him needed more of his attention at the moment.

When he thought of his grades and training, Zhang Yu got a headache again.

In addition to the physical education class in the morning, the immortal path exam also includes four subjects: Taoist heart, magic power, martial arts, and Taoist arts. Among them, Taoism accounts for 150 points, magic power accounts for 150 points, martial arts accounts for 100 points, and Taoist arts accounts for 100 points.

According to Zhang Yu's memory, his academic ranking has been declining in all aspects recently, and there is no subject that has not regressed.

If this continues, it seems that it is only a matter of time before he is expelled from Songyang High School.

Another question arose in Zhang Yu's mind.

"It seems that Zhang Yu's family is not rich, and he himself does not have any outstanding immortal talent. Whether it is the first year or the second year of interview, it seems that he was not very successful. How did he get into Songyang High School?"5 Zhang Yu recalled over and over again, and only remembered that his original body entered Songyang High School with a less than ideal interview result.

Thinking of his original family, his eyes moved slightly, and he took out his mobile phone and opened the address book.

"By the way, do you want to contact Zhang Yu's parents and sister after school?"

During the afternoon classes, Zhang Yu spent the time reviewing and organizing his memories, which allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge in his mind, of this world, and of Zhang Yu's identity.

In the blink of an eye, it was six o'clock and time to go home from school.

The school's classes for today have all ended, but for most of the students at Songyang High School, the day's classes are only halfway through. They still need to attend their own tutoring classes, and then study on their own until late at night before they can rest.

Unlike his classmates who were rushing to their respective cram schools, Zhang Yu was sitting in the empty cafeteria at this moment.

Without savings and loan limits, he has stopped attending cram school two weeks ago.

So after finishing dinner, he thought about it and turned on his cell phone.

  "Let's give it a try."

He first called Zhang Yu's mother, and then called his father, but no one answered the calls.

Recalling the memories of Zhang Yu's parents and sister in his mind, he finally called his sister reluctantly.

  "Zhang Yu?"

Listening to the slightly cold voice on the other end of the phone, Zhang Yu gritted his teeth and said, "Sister, can you lend me some money?"

There was a moment of silence. Just when Zhang Yu thought the other party would hang up, a voice came from the phone: "When you were in the first grade of elementary school, I told my parents that you don't have the talent for immortality. Going down this path is a complete waste of time and money."

"After we broke up, mom believed your fantasy and insisted on supporting you through high school. She even asked us to borrow money not long ago to take my tuition money."

"Heh, you are such an idiot that you don't know your own limits, and you have to borrow money to cultivate. In order to study in high school, you are now in a lot of debt, right?"
