"Finally, a change of mind?" The voice rang out through the top of the skyscraper, where MadWhite sat with the biggest of smiles on his face, looking at Ryuk, who held one of the teacups in his hand but barely took a sip.

He had learned his lesson from the last time, and now he was being extra careful.

Having his throat burned before entering a Lord Rank portal wasn't something on his wish list.

"Tell me, Ryuk. What made you change your mind?" MadWhite asked with interest as Ryuk shrugged.

"Just felt like I'm too young to allow guilt to cloud my mind at this stage of my life, and my curiosity finally got the better of me," Ryuk stated, causing a loud chuckle from MadWhite.

"I have a question, though. Is there a solid, sure way to get out of the realm at any time?" Ryuk asked cautiously.
