“The greatest villain in the world? That’s me?!”

Kade, a struggling actor, wakes up in a strange fantasy land where everyone thinks he is Kaedus, a feared Dark Lord destined to rule or be defeated by the heroes.

With no idea how to use magic or fight, Kade decides to rely on his acting skills to survive. It seems easy enough, until his "loyal" minions start scheming, the hero’s party begins closing in, and the prophecy about his downfall might actually be true.

Pretending to be a villain was supposed to be simple, but staying alive might cost Kade more than he ever imagined.

How I Became The Villain

The castle was alive with a hum of activity. Messengers darted through the hallways, and the sound of hurried footsteps echoed against the stone walls. In the war chamber, Kade stood surrounded by his commanders. The air was thick with tension, their gazes fixed on the large map spread across the table.

Kade muttered to himself, scanning the markers indicating enemy forces.

"Am I ever going to get a day where everything just works out?"

Selyna leaned against the edge of the table, her sharp green eyes scanning the map.

'The eastern borders are holding, but barely.'

'Verath's forces are pressing hard, and the terrain doesn't favor us.'

Thadric grinned, cracking his knuckles.

'Let me at 'em. That'll solve the problem right quick.'

Elvara rolled her eyes, her silver hair shimmering in the torchlight.

'You can't just smash your way through every problem, Thadric.'
