[Are you sure you want to pick this class?]
"Yes."
[Picking class...]
[Non-combat class detected.]
[Creating sub-class]
[Sub-class Blacksmith is now created.]
"What? Status Window." Zypher said as he felt panic.
Sub-Class is the term for secondary classes, and it doesn't have advancements like the Class.
For example, the Blacksmith Class has checkpoints such as Apprentice, Beginner, Experienced, Advanced and Epic. There are also quests to achieve the said checkpoints.
But if becomes a sub-class, it only has ten ranks, and the highest rank, cannot even compare to an Advanced Blacksmith.
Of course, it is a downgrade for Zypher.
His production cannot exceed the Rare Rank, so being an Epic Blacksmith is a must.
But then, an unexpected event happened.
[Sub-class Blacksmith has been affected by the Blessing of the God of *******. Class Expansion Activated.]
[Sub-Class Apprentice Blacksmith created.]
[Sub-class quests updated.]
[Stat quests removed.]
[Level Quests Removed.]
{Anomaly Detected.}
{Codex of ??? is reacting to Host.}
{Sub-Class Quest Created.}
Zypher was shocked to the sheer number of notifications.
Quest: Create 100 Rare Equipments.
Reward:
"Woah!"
Zypher, who was flabbergasted, made an expression.
If the curses is tying him down, and the blessing helping him out, the Codex is the one that balances it.
"As expected of an Advanced AI."
And so, the first quest began.

Tutorial City.
Where new players get their quests and levels, as well as stats to go to another city.
Legar is the city known for its delicacies. They have meats from different types of monsters, as well as ingredients for cooking.
The supply is big, so the prices are always low, unless a typhoon hit the agricultural cities and the ingredients' supply become lower.
Legar Market is located in the eastern part of the country, near the sea.
On the northern part of the said market, is a smithy, where players with Blacksmith Classes train. Having level 1 blacksmiths in that shop is normal for people.
"Hey kid, are you also a smithing apprentice?" A burly guy asked Zypher as he arrived by the door.
He was busy hammering a sword when he felt the presenceof Zypher.
"Yes."
"Too bad, we are full right now." The burly man said as he continued hammering.
"When will you have an open slot?" Zypher asked as he scratched his cheek.
"Two months at least, 5 months at most."
They say that waiting time is not wasting time, but for Zypher who already knows the future, maming haste is his priority.
"Don't you have any spare slot?" Zypher asked with pleading.
The man stopped hammering as Zypher asked. He took a towel and wiped his face.
"Slim kid with no muscles, thin stature meaning you are not into physical labor. You may not be afraid of fire, but your fire to drive you to your goal is not enough."
The man said as he picked the sword with tongs and blanched it in water.
"Smithing is a repetitive act. Once you see how hard it is, you may give up midway. Are you sure you can stay here?"
Zypher's gaze turned hard as he heard the blacksmith.
Yes, he regressed back, but revenge is not on his mind.
Instead, he wants to solve everything on his power, but not force.
As much as possible, he wants to know what was on their mind, and give them appropriate lessons for their misgivings.
Revenge is for the ones who did more to them.
For example, the ones who kidnapped Laurie.
And Rena.
Thinking about it, he sighed in annoyance.
To protect something, you must be strong, but strength is not just power and violence.
Sometimes, strength comes with trust and respect.
But then, mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.
And so, forgiveness is given to the deserving, not just anyone.
Remembering the four guilds, Zypher's mahogany eyes burned with fire.
"There are no smiths here at night, you can go here by then." The burly man said as he looked at Zypher's eyes.
"Can I also stay here in the morning?" The blacksmith asked.
"I wanna learn in the morning, and practice at night. I don't have anything to do anyways."
Since Project: Zerø has time difference in the real world, a day in the game is eight hours outside.
But, not everyone can dive into the game for a whole day.
The Tablet Inc. declared that due to health protocols, the maximum time of play game is 10 hours for 90% and below capsule synchronization rate.
Having Alpha Mk. VIII, a player can play up until 14 hours.
In his past life, Zypher plays 16 hours in the game, and sleeps for 6 hours. The two hours that was left will be used for eating, exercise and more.
Physical health is also needed by players, as celloid fluids only gives nutrients, and does not fill the stomach.
With the addition to 3000 Myrrh for the celloid fluids, Zypher also needs to earn more for his daily necessities.
And so, blacksmithing is only the way to do it.
The next day, Zypher decided to go to the blacksmith to see how the others do their work.
"Oi, kid, you're here. If you want to watch just watch. But it's not free."
"How much then?" The burly blacksmith said.
"No, you just need to help me when the time comes, kid." The blacksmith said.
"I have a name. I'm not a kid." Zypher said.
"Oh? Then I'm Ori. Nice to meet you."
"Zypher."
With a curt nod, Zypher focused on the others' work.
'Snotty kid.'
Ori came back to his work, and Zephyr decided to watch him.
There are two main types of smithing in Acias: Northern Vulcan and Dwarven Style.
Northern Vulcan Style is melting and pouring into a cast. After the casting, it is forged through fire to maintain the shape, and forged.
The Dwarven Style is getting a metal block and using it to make something. The repetitive fire and hammering makes the process longer, but is definitely better.
Ori mastered the Northern Vulcan, and can make one equipment inside 3 hours.
This speed is efficient, but Zypher is not content with this.
{Learning Northern Vulcan Style...}
{Learnt 16.7%}
{Learning Dwarven Style...}
{Learnt 33.2%}
In the past one day of practice and watching, Zypher learnt many techniques inside a day.
A week might be enough for him to learn things, but then, creating a rare item is something that induces his headache.
His Constitution, Strength and Luck may play a part, but they are just a small part. Compared to others who already have almost five times his stats in other areas, he is the slowest of them all.
But then, his learning ability is higher than the others. Inside a week, he has already learned the two styles to 100%.
Now, the ordeal of smithing is his enemy.
Night came, and it's time for him to smith equipments.
But then, he remembered something.
To smith something, he needs to provide his own ores and blueprints.
The quality of the ore is also a thing that can change the quality of the end product. Ores like that are rare to see, and they are not cheap at all.
The cheapest mineral that a blacksmith can use is Blood Ore.
This ore can be mined from the nearest dungeon, Blood Bat Cave.
Blood Bat Cave is an F-Rank Dungeon, which is accessible to players level 10 and above.
There are three different places for players to collect resources: the dungeons, the tower, and the abyss.
Dungeons are naturally appearing "gates" to every vicinity. This changes every day, and there are times that they stay longer, but the days of operation are still like that.
For example, the Blood Bat Cave, is a dungeon that appears every Monday and Thursday in real world. Once the Blood Bat Cave overstays until Tuesday, the Thursday schedule will be scrapped.
Because of the time difference in the real world and the game world, guilds tend to send three sets of gamers to mine and get resources.
That night, Zypher decided to buy some Blood Ores near the Blood Bat Cave.
After a few minutes of walking, he arrived at the dungeon.
"Level 10 Healer Needed!"
"Last 1 Warrior Needed!"
"Levelling Bus, Register Here!"
All sorts of people were trying to recruit others to enter the Blood Cave.
But, Zypher is not interested in them. He headed to the small store near who is nearest the dungeon.
It is a small house that has a plaque on top.
"Blood Ores for 10 Silver."
In his past life, the Caelestia Guild always buy ores from them.
It may look small, but in truth, this store is a branch of the biggest ore mining company in the game: Crystal Co. also known as CC.
Ores are cheap here, but Zypher did not go here to just buy cheap ores.
Zypher entered the store. In there, he saw a small girl who was sweeping the floor with a broom that is taller than her.
The old lady in the cashier has her eyes closed all the time Zypher was looking around.
In truth, Blood Ore is a brittle mineral that becomes liquid when exposed to heat.
After an hour of shopping, Zypher found the minerals he needed for the thing he will do.
"2kg of Blood Ore, 1kg of Wynn Tear, 10kg of Crude Iron. 1 Gold all in all."
Zypher looked at the old woman before pulling out 6 Large Silvers.
"60 Silvers."
"1 Gold."
He then pulled another Large Silver.
"70."
"1 Go--"
"Bye then."
Zypher started walking as he grabbed the Large Silvers.
But then, a hand grabbed his hands, and the old lady who has her eyes closed all this time opened it.
"Fine, 70 Silvers."
Zypher let go of his hand, and the silvers fell down on the table.
"Thank you, Madam Rory."
He then pulled the bag of ores and left the store.
After leaving, Rory then tear her face, no, her mask and looked at the girl sweeping.
"Abby, find everything about that boy."
Without further ado, Abby became a shadow and vanished from the store.
"Interesting."

Back in the smithy.
Zypher laid all the ores needed for what he will do.
And the blueprint?
"Codex Library."
"Blood Ore Blueprints."
"Projectiles."
Zypher then scrolled down through the blueprints, and he found the weapon he was looking for all this time.
In his past life, an assassin was known for his notoriety that even the Magic Night Guild can't do anything about him.
His main weapon was a chain with a blade attached on it, but that was not the end of it.
The thing that gave Magic Night hard time was the throwables he has with him.
And one of them is the Blood Kunai.
[Blood Kunai]
Description: a throwable weapon that explodes to mist and poisons everyone around.
And why does Zypher want this as his first weapon to do?
Because right now, he must obtain a rare item to forge rare equipments.
For someone like him who has low stats, being rich is the way to go, and using those rare items will definitely boost his chances to finish the first subclass quest.
But then, having those kunai will just boost his combat power, so he planned another thing for this journey.
The Acquired Skill: Weak Point.
