Arkrai

[Blessing of the Light Spirit King]

[Spirit Affinity to Maximum. Every Spirit will heed you and will do things with you.]

[Blessing of the Dark Spirit King.]

[Beast Tribe Affinity to Maximum. Every Beastman will have great liking towards you. Your words will be like a command to them.]

Affinities.

This is like how the players in other games build rapport towards NPCs.

At this moment, Zypher knew he hit the jackpot.

This is because one month from now is the release of the patch of Beastmen Tribe, where the Beastmen will send Rare to Epic Quests in the Mercenary Guilds to do things for them.

In reality of the game, the Beast King and the King of Acias made a non-aggression agreement, where one race won't harm the other.

In case this happens, the agreement will be voided, and a war will ensue.

In truth, Acias is a small kingdom in the border, and the first line of defense against monsters and other races. From it's southwest is the sea, and in the west is the Rigus Empire.

The northwest of the said Kingdom is the plains and the forest in the north.

Acias is like the cork in a wine, and if you shake one side enough, it will burst out and Acias will be gone.

In his past life, Acias became the most powerful city, enough to rival the country and the empire, as well as the other kingdoms and tip the balance of things.

Why? Because Acias is the main base of Caelestia.

Dwarves, elves, beastmen, and other races came and traded with Acias, and Lara, the Guild Leader was once elected by the Natives to be the King, but Lara refused it.

But, that was a story for another time.

Now, Zypher has made a significant change in the timeline he knows. He saved Releana, and became a favorable person towards the beastmen and spirits.

"Before you go, can I ask a favor?"

Releana said as the two released their control over her body.

"Yes, what is it?"

"For a while now, people are looking for me and my son, trying to harm us. Although I know that you just met us, I can't do anything right now in my power to know who they are. Please find them, and give me evidences that they are the ones, so I can prepare myself and Rupin.

[Sudden Quest Initiated: Releana's Favor.]

[Evidences collected: 0/???]

[Rewards: ???]

"I'll accept it.

Releana smiled as she heard it.

"Before you go, this is something I have with me that can help you in your journey." Saying this, Releana passed on a scroll to Zypher.

"Thank you for this, Ma'am."

"No worries, I can marry you if you just ask me to." With a bashful expression, she pouted and averted her eyes. Her face was red, and Rupin was also confused as how her mother is acting.

"No need for that Ma'am." With a block face and blank expression, Zypher answered stalely.

"Too bad." Releana said as she smiled, which induced a nosebleed to Zypher.

"Well then, let's go and deliver this kid to the next city." She said as she pulled Rupin to her bum.

'How I wish I was Rupi-- WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING!'

With a last spurt of nosebleed, they walked until they arrive at the border of the Great Plains and Arkrai City.

"I guess this is where we part ways." Releana said as she and Rupin faced Zypher.

"Yeah, I guess so."

"This is the brand of Guides, show it to the guards, and they will let you in the city." Rupin said as he gave an emblem with a pawprint in it.

This emblem is shown as certificates of entrance to cities, and the proofs that they are Awakeners.

"It may be short, but thank you for being kind to us!" Releana and Rupin bowed, and Zypher just smiled.

"I'll have to go now, thank you for the guidance." Zypher said and walked towards the entrance.

But in truth, his heart is just bitter.

'Damn game, giving me something like this, and making me assume things. I'll end you, you bastard.'

He said as he arrived at the gates of Arkrai.

Releana and Rupin was long gone and the sun was already setting.

When the guards saw him, they ran towards him and bowed to his feet.

"Mister Awakener, our city needs help right now."

"What happened?"

"A Dungeon Break has happened!"

[Sudden Quest Initiated: Dungeon Break.]

[Rating: D]

[Kill the boss and close the Dungeon.]

[Rewards: Depends on contribution.]

[Will you accept?]

"Lead the way."

The two guards then stood up, and one of them pulled Zypher to the side, but then, a carriage can be seen going out of the gate.

"OUT OF THE WAY, PESTS!"

From afar, due to being dark, the carriage can't be seen and identified, but Zypher knows who the carriage belongs to.

The carriage is with two horses in front, and a black theme can be seen from the carriage.

A guild in the game can't manage everyone who wants to join them, and so, they use vassal guilds, and only the best people are sent to the main guild.

And now, the vassal guild of Magic Night, Fire Dawn, is the one who manages Arkrai.

"Sir, where are you going? The city--" the guard tried to block the carriage, but was too fast to do it.

"I could not care less about your city! We got what we want here, and now, it's time for us to retreat." The man in the carriage laughed as he went away.

Hearing this, Zypher frowned.

The hidden piece in Arkrai City, Epic Class Star Guardian.

This is a class where the Astrologer and Knight class meets. The Skill Tree of the Star Guardian is a wonder to many.

Classes are a bit tricky, due to the sensitivity of the game, but, it all comes down to the first 100 Quests in the game.

At Level 1, players get their main class. There are four main classes in the game: Attack, Defense, Magic, Support.

At Level 2, the derivatives of it are chosen.

For example, when you pick the Magic Class, you can choose between Mage, Sorcerer, or Witch.

Mages become Elemental Mages at Level 15, which can be further enhanced based on the Skills they have. For example is a Storm Mage, which is good at Wind and Water elements, and can also learn Lightning Magic.

Sorcerers are the ones that uses principles to fight, which becomes Enchanters, Shamans, Astrologers and Summoners. They are close to Support Classes, but they have combat abilities that distinguish them from supports.

While Witches become Necromancers, Warlocks and Voodoos that deals with dark magic. They are the complete opposite of Supports.

There are many more distinctions in the classes, but once a player gets his second class in Level 50, they are given quests in which they can upgrade it to Epic Classes and becomes much stronger.

But, even if they get it, the Legendary Class Spellblade has it's own merits.

Legendary Classes are classes that's been already fused.

For example, the Jester Class of Lara in Zypher's past life.

It is a complete balance of the four main classes: can be a defender, a mage, a support or a warrior anytime she wants.

She can buff herself, and use magic in her arrows and fire it in a bow, and deals damage more than it used to.

Legendary Classes are "game-breakers" and having two in one guild makes the balance in power become fragile.

That's why Caelestia was ousted in his past life.

And, Legendary Classes can stand against a hundred Epic Classes, but Epic Classes are not vegetables in the market.

It is most likely that a person can be hit by a vehicle than get an Epic Class.

And from his past life, only 200 Epic Classes were discovered.

And according to Capsule Inc. That is already twenty-five percent of all the Epic Classes that can be discovered.

Epic classes are like legacies to the Natives, and getting one will get so much work, but it is still worth to be obtained.

Though players can make their own fusion of two classes, it just becomes a Unique Class.

These Unique Classes are a level lower than Epic Classes as Epic ones have Special Skills in their Skill Tree.

It is a big asset in case one person obtains an Epic Class, but Zypher has other plans for now.

The carriage went on and left the city. After a moment of silence, Zypher asked the Native.

"What was the name of the dungeon again?"

"It was called Wraith Abode. The guild told us that they will be the ones to clear it, and banned others from entering the dungeon."

"So they waited for a week so the dungeon will break."

"I-I guess so." With a heavy heart, the guard guided him to the nearest barracks.

"Trakiz, we found one!" The guard, who was with him ran to the barracks.

When he entered the barracks, blades were pointed at his neck, and the neck of the guard.

"State your name, Level and Class."

Zypher was a bit baffled, but answered slowly.

"Zypher. Level 1. Blacksmith."

Laughter was heard after he introduced himself.

The blades aimed for him was lowered while everybody can't even know why a kid like him is with them.

"HAHAHAHAHA. Although I know you won't betray us, I can't help but to think that you will just be a baggage to us." Trakiz said while laughing in his musky voice.

His red hair is tied in a ponytail, and his square face is filled with facial hair. His bulk body is covered with a tank top and a huge hammer is beside him.

"Did the boss appear already?" Stopping the laughter around him, Zypher asked away.

"The boss is still inside, and we are just dealing with the underlings. Those bastards Fire Dawn left us when three Wailing Wraiths appeared."

"Is there a Mercenary Guild somewhere?" Zypher didn't mind the laughter and made his steps.

"Down the alley at the fourth street to your left. There is a mercenary guild there."

"Thank you then." Without further ado, he rushed out and went to the said Mercenary Guild.

This is his first time dealing with a dungeon break in this life, and so, he needs to assess everything as the people he had in his past life are not yet here.

Entering the place, there were many eyes who looked at him.

Mercenaries are also players, but they are high-level ones that needs money to move. There are also parties in here, that can become forces of other guilds, but then, they want money over everything.

Zypher walked towards the counter as he sat in front of the innkeeper. Putting two golds on the desk, he looked at the lady cleaning the glasses.

"A mercenary certification please."

The lade stopped in what she was doing, looked at Zypher for a while, and continued on wiping the glasses.

"Name, level and--"

"Heltern Empire, Loruk Kingdom, Second Prince Ethan Loruk is planning on invading the southeast of Acias."

"And the authenticity?" The lady stopped as she smiled to Zypher.

"Two days ago, a dungeon break happened in Rashawt City in the southeast, and the guards were all killed. The central city must deploy guards in two weeks time, so a group of mercenaries came and was clearing the dungeon."

"And what of them?"

"The name of the party is Orbital Kiss. They are the number one party of mercenaries in Loruk."

"And how can we prove it's them?"

"The party leader, is a woman, named Leonila, and not Leon."

After saying it, four people stood up and aimed their weapons at him.

A sword, a spear, a cane and a gun.

"Nice to meet you, Leonila Loruk."

Zypher smiled as he put his face on his hands, looking at the lady who stopped wiping the glass.
