Wedding Day

We gave the whole land half a summer's notice and invited Licnine people of all types.

Quite quickly, the inns filled, and camps began to crop up around the city walls. The air grew thick with the mingling scents of spices and roasting meats with sweet berries sauces, a tangy aroma so rich that on the morning breeze, I swore I could taste it on my tongue.

Within the walls, the city pulsed with life like I'd never seen before. I could hear voices rising in joyous laughter, musicians filling the streets with lilting melodies, and merchants calling out from makeshift stalls selling Licnine trinkets and exotic furs.

Indeed water squirrel fur coats were coming into style with the Valcox in a big way. Even Addy had made one for herself.

There was much celebration leading up to the day I would be wed to Onyx.
