Chapter 7:Make Albert fall in love with you

" Yes Mrs Wilson, He's been in jail for a year now."

Mariam's eyes locked onto Alena's as she asked, "Alena, how much money did your father owe?"

Alena hesitated, looking uncomfortable. "It was...a lot, Mrs. Wilson. More than we could afford."

Mariam's expression turned serious. "Alena, I need to know.

how much did your father owe in Chattinis?"

Alena: "It was... 250,000 ℂ, Mrs. Wilson."

That was a big sum of money in Chattins. Indeed Alena couldn't afford it.

Firstly she had to work hand in hand with her mother Sophia Vexar to pay Augustine's school fees her young brother who was just in high school at 18.

Mariam's expression turned thoughtful, and she said, "Alena, I think I can help your family. I'd like to pay off the debt that your father owes."

Alena's eyes widened in shock, and she stared at Mariam in disbelief.

"Mrs. Wilson, I...I don't know what to say. That's so kind of you, but it's a lot of money... 250,000 ℂ."

Mariam's expression turned serious, and she said, "Alena, I'm willing to pay off the debt, but I have one condition."

Alen's eyes narrowed slightly, and she asked, "What's the condition, Mrs. Wilson?"

" I want you to date Albert Thompson." Mariam declared.

" Albert Thompson ?" Alena asked with proof she didn't know who Mariam was talking about.

" Yes, Albert is my daughter's ex boyfriend. He is the one who caused her accident." Mariam revealed.

Alena's eyes widened in shock, and she felt a surge of anger. "You want me to date Albert Thompson? The same man who broke Ryan's heart?"

Mariam's expression remained calm, but her eyes seemed to gleam with a hidden intensity. "Yes, Alena. That's exactly what I'm asking you to do."

Alena's face set in a firm expression, and she said, "I'm sorry, Mrs. Wilson. But I could never date someone who hurt Ryan like that. It's not right."

Mariam leaned forward, her voice taking on a persuasive tone. "Alena, I understand your reservations. But I'm willing to make it worth your while. If you agree to date Albert, I'll not only pay off your father's debt, but I'll also give you a substantial sum of money to start your own business."

Alena's eyes narrowed slightly, and she asked, "Mrs. Wilson, why are you so invested in me dating Albert? What's going on that you're willing to pay off my father's debt and give me a large sum of money just to date him?"

Mariam's expression turned enigmatic, and she smiled thinly.

"Let's just say, Alena, that I have my reasons. Reasons that I'm not at liberty to disclose just yet. But rest assured, it's all part of a larger plan."

Alena's eyes remained narrowed, and she said, "I don't know, Mrs. Wilson. This all feels very suspicious. What's really going on here?"

" Albert used my daughter and after dumped her like trash. He is cruel and selfish, He deserves nothing good." Mariam said and looked at Alena with a more serious face.

" Make him fall in love with you so hard, Then after break his heart . Make sure it hurts him so much that he will never heal !" Mariam told Alena the rules.

Alena's eyes widened in horror as she stared at Mariam.

"You want me to deliberately break Albert's heart? To hurt him so badly that he'll never heal?"

Mariam's expression remained icy, and she nodded. "Yes, Alëna. That's exactly what I want you to do. Make him fall deeply in love with you, and then crush him. I want him to suffer."

Alëna felt a wave of revulsion wash over her.

"Mrs. Wilson, I don't know if I can do that. It's cruel and heartless.

Mariam's eyes narrowed, and she said, "Alëna, I'm not asking you. I'm telling you. If you want the debt paid off and the money, you'll do exactly as I say. Otherwise, you'll get nothing."

" Besides, You shouldn't sympathize with Albert. He's evil. He deserves it. You see my daughter got the accident because of him , But he has never come to check on her even once." Mariam spoke bitterly to assure Alëna that Albert wasn't a good person.

Alëna hesitated, feeling a knot in her stomach. She didn't want to agree to Mariam's request, but she also didn't want to risk losing the opportunity to pay off her father's debt.

"Okay, Mrs. Wilson," Alëna said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll think about it."

Mariam's face lit up with a triumphant smile. "Excellent, Alëna. I knew I could count on you. You have 24 hours to make your decision. After that, the offer is off the table."

As Alëna left the hospital she felt a wave of uncertainty wash over her. What was she getting herself into? Could she really go through with Mariam's plan?

Alena walked through the front door of her home, her mind still reeling from Mariam's shocking request. She was lost in thought as she made her way to the living room.

As she entered the living room, Alena was surprised to see Augustine sitting on the couch, surrounded by stacks of books. He looked up from his reading and smiled warmly at Alena.

"Hey, I was starting to get worried," Augustine said, closing his book. "You've been gone for a while. Everything okay?"

Alena hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal to Augustine. She didn't want to burden him with her problems, but at the same time, she desperately needed someone to talk to.
