You have to get your hair and nails worked on.
Alëna raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit self-conscious. "I don't know, Mariam. I'm not really used to getting pampered like this."
Mariam waved her hand dismissively. "Nonsense, Alëna. You deserve to feel like a queen. And besides, this is all part of our plan."
Alëna's curiosity was piqued, but she didn't press the issue. Instead, she followed Mariam into the salon, where they were greeted by a friendly stylist.
The next few hours were a blur of hair dye, nail polish, and makeup. Alëna felt like a completely different person by the time they left the salon.
As they walked out, Mariam handed Alëna a mirror. "Take a look," she said, smiling.
Alëna gasped as she took in her reflection. Her hair was now a rich, dark brown, and her nails were painted a sleek red. Her makeup was subtle but elegant, accentuating her features perfectly.
"How do I look?" Alëna asked, feeling a bit shy.
Mariam grinned. "You look stunning, Alëna. Absolutely stunning."
Alëna smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Mariam. "Thanks, Mariam. I really appreciate everything you've done for me today."
Mariam waved her hand dismissively. "It's nothing, Alëna. You're going to need a new look for what's coming next."
Alëna's curiosity was piqued. "What's coming next?" she asked, feeling a sense of anticipation.
Mariam smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "All in good time, Alëna. For now, let's just focus on getting you ready."
Alëna nodded, feeling a sense of trust in Mariam. She knew that Mariam had a plan, and she was eager to see what it entailed.
As they walked out of the salon, Mariam handed Alëna a credit card. " Take this, it has as much money as you need for a while. The pin is 2929." Mariam said.
Alëna couldn't believe this Mariam was giving her all these things. While they stood there a red luxurious car parked in front of them.
The car was a sleek, black Mercedes-Benz S-Class, its polished exterior gleaming in the sunlight.
A young lady came out of it and made a low bow before Mariam.
" Mrs Wilson's, The car you sent for is here." She lady said.
Mariam smiled.
" Give her the keys." Mariam told the young lady:
Alëna couldn't believe that the car was brought for her also.
" Mrs Mariam, Is this …"
" Yeah. You will need it." Mariam said,
" This is Jenny my secretary. She will help you with more things in case i am busy." Mariam said.
" Ohh, Nice meeting you Jenny." Alëna spoke with a low bow.
" Nice meeting you too. I will glad to work with you." Jenny said.
" Help her pack all the clothes in the car. I'm leaving for now." Mariam said as her driver came for her and after she left.
Alëna got all the things inside the car and drove off back home.
As Alëna pulled into the driveway in her new Mercedes-Benz, Sophia and Augustine couldn't help but stare. They were even more shocked when Alëna stepped out of the car, looking like a completely different person.
"Alëna, wow!" Sophia exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise. "You look... stunning!"
Augustine's eyes were fixed on the car. "Whoa, is that yours?" he asked, his voice full of envy.
Alëna smiled, feeling a sense of pride and confidence. "Yes, it's mine," she said, running her hand over the car's sleek surface.
Sophia's eyes narrowed slightly as she took in Alëna's new look. "Alëna, what's going on?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "You quit your job, and now you're driving a Mercedes and looking like... a completely different person."
Alëna hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "I'll explain everything later, Mom," she said, forcing a smile. "For now, let's just say I'm starting a new chapter in my life."
Sophia's expression was skeptical, but she didn't press the issue further.
Alëna took a deep breath and headed inside to explain everything to Sophia and Augustine. She sat them down in the living room and launched into a vague explanation of how she had met Mariam and how Mariam was helping her start a new business.
" She just gave me the car to help me in work. For the looks, she said it's better I look like this. Her workers normally look stunning." Alëna narrated.
Sophia and Augustine listened intently, but it was clear they were both skeptical.
Sophia asked a few pointed questions, but Alëna dodged them expertly, not wanting to reveal too much.
Just as it seemed like Sophia was about to press Alëna for more information, Augustine piped up. "Hey, Alëna, can you take me for a ride in the new car? Pleeease?"
Alëna smiled, grateful for the distraction. "Sure thing, Augustine. Let's go for a spin."
Augustine whooped with excitement and ran out to the car, with Alëna following close behind. Sophia watched them go, a look of concern still etched on her face.
As they drove away, Alëna couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and freedom. She was finally doing something for herself, and it felt amazing.
