Alëna walked into Mariam's Beauty Shop, a huge smile plastered on her face. Mariam looked up from the client she was styling and raised an eyebrow.
"Alëna, darling! How did the audition go?" Mariam asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Alëna took a seat in the empty chair next to Mariam and let out a deep breath. "I got it, Mariam! I'm going to be the new ambassador for Thompson's Group!"
Mariam's face lit up with a warm smile. "I knew you could do it, Alëna! You're talented, beautiful, and determined. Albert won't know what hit him."
Alëna's smile faltered for a moment, and a hint of uncertainty crept into her voice. "Mariam, are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, using me to get revenge on Albert...it feels a little wrong."
Mariam's expression turned cold and hard, her eyes flashing with anger. "Wrong? You want to talk about wrong? Albert broke my daughter's heart and nearly destroyed her. He deserves to pay for what he did, and if using you to get to him is what it takes, then so be it."
Alëna nodded, feeling a surge of determination. She was in this now, and she would see it through to the end.
"What's the next step, Mariam?" Alëna asked, her voice firm and resolute.
Mariam's smile returned, and she leaned in close. "Now, darling, we start playing the game. We'll make sure Albert falls deeply in love with you, and then...we'll break his heart into a million pieces."

Alëna's phone rang, shrill and insistent, cutting through the morning silence. She groggily reached over to her nightstand and picked it up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Hello?" she answered, her voice husky from sleep.
"Good morning, Alëna," a bright, cheerful voice said on the other end of the line. "This is Emily from Thompson's Group. We hope you're doing well."
Alëna's heart skipped a beat as she sat up straight, suddenly wide awake. "Good morning, Emily. I'm doing great, thanks."
"We're thrilled to have you on board as our new ambassador," Emily continued. "We'd like to schedule a meeting with you to discuss the details of your contract and your role within the company."
Alëna's mind was racing as she grabbed a pen and paper to jot down the details. "That sounds great. When and where is the meeting?"
"How about 2 PM today at our office downtown?" Emily suggested.
Alëna nodded, even though Emily couldn't see her. "That works perfect for me. I'll be there."
"Great," Emily said. "We're looking forward to seeing you then. Have a wonderful day, Alëna."
Alëna hung up the phone, her heart racing with excitement. She couldn't believe it. She was actually going to be the ambassador for Thompson's Group.
She jumped out of bed and began to get ready for the meeting, her mind whirling with thoughts of what the future held.
——
Alëna arrived at the Thompson's Group office, her heart pounding with excitement. She was dressed in a sleek black business suit, her hair styled perfectly, and her makeup subtle yet elegant.
As she stepped into the lobby, she was greeted by a receptionist who smiled warmly. "Hi, Alëna. You must be here for the meeting. Let me just check with Emily."
The receptionist picked up the phone and dialed a number. After a brief conversation, she hung up and smiled at Alëna. "Emily will be right down to escort you to the meeting room."
Alëna nodded and took a seat in the plush waiting area. She flipped through a magazine, trying to calm her nerves.
A few minutes later, Emily appeared, smiling brightly. "Alëna, it's so great to see you again. Let's head up to the meeting room."
Alëna stood up and followed Emily to the elevator. As they rode up to the top floor, Alëna couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. She was really doing it. She was becoming the ambassador for Thompson's Group.
The elevator doors opened, and Emily led Alëna to a sleek, modern conference room.
The room was filled with executives, all of whom turned to look at Alëna as she entered.
At the head of the table, a tall, imposing figure stood up.
"Alëna, welcome," he said, his voice deep and resonant.
"I'm Albert Thompson, the CEO of Thompson's Group. We're thrilled to have you on board as our new ambassador."
Alëna's heart skipped a beat as she met Albert's gaze.
Alëna's eyes locked onto Albert's, and for a moment, she forgot to breathe.
His eyes were piercing brown, and his chiseled features seemed to be carved from granite.
He was even more handsome than she had imagined and seen him earlier at the party.
She felt a flutter in her chest, and her mind went blank. But she quickly regained her composure, reminding herself of her mission.
"Thank you, Mr. Thompson," Alëna replied, her voice smooth and confident. "I'm honored to be working with Thompson's Group, and I'm excited to get started."
Albert's expression remained neutral, his eyes narrowing slightly as he regarded her. He didn't smile, and his voice was firm but polite.
"Welcome to the team, Alëna," he said. "I expect great things from you. Let's get down to business, shall we?"
They all sat down to discuss her contract.
