Felix paced back and forth in his hospital room, his mind consumed with thoughts of what had just happened. The anger, the pain - it all weighed heavily on him, casting a shadow over his thoughts. He couldn't shake the feeling of guilt for speaking to Rowoon like that.
As he continued to pace, a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts. Min-Soo, his boss and mentor, stood in the doorway with a concerned expression on his face. "Hey Dongsaeng," Min-Soo greeted him with a gentle smile, using the nickname that he often used for Felix, making Felix to roll his eyes, but felt happy that Min-Soo was there.
Felix's heart softened at the sound of Min-Soo's voice, the anger and frustration that had consumed him momentarily subsiding. He respected Min-Soo immensely, viewing him as a father figure and a guiding force in his life.
"Why was he so mad at him like that?" Felix finally spoke, his voice filled with confusion and regret. He couldn't understand why he had reacted with such anger and violence towards Rowoon, and the weight of that realization hit him hard.
Min-Soo approached Felix, his eyes filled with understanding and compassion. "I know this is difficult for you, but sometimes emotions run deep in our world. Rowoon is going through his own struggles, and it's not a reflection of your worth or character," Min-Soo reassured him, his voice firm yet gentle.
Felix nodded, taking in Min-Soo's words and finding solace in his mentor's wisdom. He knew that he had made mistakes, but he also knew that he had to find a way to make amends and move forward.
With Min-Soo's guidance, Felix felt a sense of clarity and determination wash over him.
Min-Soo's eyes sparkled with amusement as he teased Felix. "You have no idea, do you?" he said, chuckling. "Rowoon was a complete mess when you were kidnapped. He was like a raging bull, destroying anything that got in his way."
Felix's eyes widened, surprised by Min-Soo's words. He had no idea that Rowoon had reacted so strongly to his kidnapping.
Min-Soo continued, enjoying Felix's reaction. "I've never seen Rowoon like that before. He was unstoppable, tearing through the city, searching for any lead that might bring him to you."
Felix's heart skipped a beat as he listened to Min-Soo's words. He couldn't believe that Rowoon had gone to such extremes to find him. A warm feeling spread through his chest, and he couldn't help but feel a little happy.
Felix's expression turned somber, regret etched on his face. "I was so mean to him, though," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I spoke to him so rudely..."
Min-Soo's expression softened, and he placed a reassuring hand on Felix's shoulder. "Don't worry about that now, Felix. What's important is that you're safe."
Felix's eyes sparkled with determination. "Can I go see him?" he asked Min-Soo, his voice filled with hope.
But Min-Soo's expression turned firm. "Not now, Felix. You need to rest and recover. Besides, Rowoon will come to see you,or you can go once you're discharged."
Felix's face fell, and he pouted like a kid, crossing his arms over his chest. "That's not fair," he muttered, his lower lip jutting out in a sulky expression.
Felix's face lit up like a lamp when Min-Soo brought out a package sent to him from a friend and coworker. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he tore open the wrapping to reveal a thoughtful gift inside.
Min-Soo smiled, happy to see Felix's mood lift. "I'll leave you to enjoy your gift," he said, stepping out of the room to make a call.
But as he dialed the number, he was met with an annoying silence. The person on the other end refused to pick up, leaving Min-Soo frustrated and cursing under his breath.
"Seriously?" Min-Soo muttered, shoving his phone back into his pocket. "Can't even be bothered to answer my call..."
