Sara POV
He still hasn't come back after two hours of waiting. I dialed his number many times, but he did not receive any of my calls. I'm uncertain about his sudden disappearance.
The outside rain roused a long-buried phobia of the rain, so I closed my eyes in an attempt to sleep. I turned on all of the lights in the room, but the abrupt power outage left the home in darkness.
A strong thunderstorm outside made my body tremble with fear. The strong wind caused the flower vase in the window's corner to break. I gathered up the courage to attempt to shut the glass window. However, a strong wind forced me to release my hold on the window handle as I attempted to close it.
The rainwater that entered the room through the window soaked half of my body. My eyes landed on the window's exterior view.
"Who is that?"
When I noticed lightning from a thunderstorm on the tree outside the home, I became terrified. After closing every window I could find, I headed to the kitchen to get candles so I could light up the room.
With the help of my mobile torch, I reached the kitchen and lit up the candle. I looked at my phone's battery. My phone's battery is already about to die from continuous calls to that emotionless monster. I arrived in the room and removed my dry clothes from the cupboard to change my wet clothes.
A terrifying thunderstorm and a strong wind gust unlocked the window lock just as I was drying off with a towel. The strong wind promptly blew out the candles. Before I could reach the window, a broken piece of the vase stabbed my foot as I moved in the darkness to close it again. I felt excruciating leg pain as I sat down in my place.
The terrifying noises of the thunderstorm took me back to my early years. I tried covering my ear with my palm so I wouldn't hear that horrible sound, but I was unable to escape my fear because it had already brought back a terrifying memory from my early years.
"Where are you, Sara?" His whistle is audible in my ear. He was looking for me, dawdling about the dimly lit house.
In my father's room, I hide behind the window curtain. I closed my lips to prevent any sounds from escaping. His whistling abruptly ceased, and I could no longer hear his footsteps.
Thank God, he left the house. I sighed with relief and thought about getting out of my place.
"Surprise,Doll." He pulled back the curtain and gave me a creepy smile. In the candlelight, his features appeared even more sinister. He put his hand over my mouth so that I couldn't scream.
"Don't scream, princess; nobody came to assist you in this torrential downpour." I begged him to leave me while I sobbed hysterically, but he ignored me.
"Until your parents get back from town, princess, you have to reside with me in this house." He reached beneath my t-shirt to caress my breast.
"What are you doing?" I glared fearfully at him.
"Shh, don't interrupt me. I'm simply trying to see if you can help me or not." He put his hand on my tiny breast, making me sob in agony.
"Shit, you don't even have a breast." Dissatisfied, he glanced at me.
Then he slipped his hand under my panty.
"No, please don't touch me."
"You have a nice pussy, huh?" I felt disgusted by his touch on my private part.
After throwing me onto the bed, he unzipped his pants. He was too strong for a seven-year-old girl to battle with, so I struggled to break free from his hold. When I saw his firm dick, I gasped in horror. He had a specific goal in mind for me. He was going to get into my private area with his dick.
Thanks to god, my parents suddenly knocked on the door.
"Shit, how did they get in at this hour of the night when there is heavy rain outside?" He frustratingly closed his zip and hid his firm dick under his pants.
"Never, ever dare tell your parents anything about this." He whispered in my ear, making me feel threatened.
My spine tingled at his whisper. I shook my head in response.
Being afraid of revealing his dark side made it so hard for me to hold back my emotions. I never expected that Uncle Joe could hurt me to this extent. I was astonished by his abrupt, demonic behavior. I believed he treated me like his own daughter. I never imagined that beneath his charming grin lurked malevolent intent. I've always adored and respected him as much as my father, but when I realized who he was, it broke my heart.
"Mama, I have missed you." As soon as he opened the main door, I hugged my mama tightly.
"Why are you crying, Sara? What happened?" My mama cupped my face and looked at me with a worried expression.
Before I could tell her anything, Uncle Joe slipped a candle over my skirt, burning my inner thigh. I was about to tell her all that Uncle Joe had done to me. Although I was well aware that it was not an accident, he acted as though it were in front of my parents.
It was a warning not to talk to my parents about anything.
I never told anyone about Uncle Joe's sinister secret, but his acts caused such profound emotional damage to my small heart that I would get too afraid whenever it rained. Even the sight of rain revived my memory, even if too many years had passed since that happened.
Sometimes, I wonder what he did to me that night if my mom and dad didn't show up on time. As time went on, my burned thigh healed, but the scar from that incident remains on both my body and heart.
Aron didn't even seem to care about my feelings, so why would he vow to shield me from the rain? A tear fell on my cheeks.
I tried to ignore the darkness in the room by closing my eyes, but the darkness inside of me was too strong to handle.
Since my feet were already bleeding, I spent the entire night sitting in the same place and keeping my eyes closed. I had a lot of panic attacks when I thought back to that terrible event in my life.
Uncle Joe occasionally appears to me to reflect on the thunderstorm. To protect myself from his memories, I hide behind the curtain. But his image lingered in my head till my entire body went numb.
I know I am too weak to face my fear. In any case, I was just waiting for this long night to pass by, tightly closing my eyes.
He could approach me at any moment, and then he would pull back the curtain to frighten me. I heard footsteps on the stairs, and I covered my ears to ignore the sound of his footsteps.
