Angry client

Aron POV

"The client is waiting for you, Mr. Finge." When I got to my office, Selena was already there.

"How long have they been waiting for me?" I asked, feeling a pang of guilt.

"They had been waiting for you for the past hour." She glanced at her wristwatch before glaring at me with displeasure.

How could I be so careless? I entered the meeting room right away.

"I apologize, Mr. Clinton." I lowered my head in apology for keeping them waiting for an hour.

"We did not anticipate you acting in such an unprofessional manner, Mr. Finge. When we finally got to meet with you after three weeks, you made us wait an hour." He gave me an enraged look.

It's entirely my fault. A personal imbalance has also disrupted my professional life.

"I am genuinely sorry, Mr. Clinton. I was preoccupied with some urgent work." Perched in my chair, I motioned for him to start the meeting.

"If we don't collaborate from the start, Mr. Finge, I will locate another provider for my business." He crossed his legs over the chair.

"Mr. Clinton, although I am grateful for your continued faith in our business, this is not the real reason we are waiting to sign a new agreement; rather, it is because of my company's commitment to loyalty and trustworthiness toward yours. Furthermore, my business is the only one in the USA able to meet all of our clients' demands." I rolled out the paperweight on the table.

"Mr. Finge, your overconfidence will ruin you." He realized the reality and erupted.

"I understand the difference between being confident and being overconfident, so don't worry." I glanced at him.

"I don't think I will find a better vendor for my firm. Your father is open to working with my company." Outraged, he rose from his chair.

I was disappointed to learn that my dad is still a rival in my line of work. I don't like to bring up our disagreements in front of others, but my dad never gave me the chance to feel equal to him. Our clients continue to exploit our family's differences. Occasionally, my dad loses money on a contract to steal from my clients. I fail to see why he detests me to such an extent.

"Good luck, Mr. Clinton." As he rose from his chair to exit the meeting room, I gave him a kind smile.

"You have to pay a high price for your arrogance, Aron Finge." He gave me a warning, clinched his fist in rage, and walked out of the room.

"What happened to him, Mr. Finge?" With a troubled expression, Selena walked inside the meeting room.

"He breached our agreement's terms." I sat down steadily in my chair and answered her with composure.

"What? He was our most prestigious client." Her eyes were wide with disbelief.

"So what? I don't want to work with any men who disrespect people's feelings and lack empathy for other people's circumstances, especially if they don't appreciate my heartfelt apology. I don't regret losing my company's client."

"But, Mr. Finge, since when did you care about people's sentiments? You only prefer to work under defined terms and conditions." Her questions forced me to analyze this new change that developed in me.

Why do I feel like ending the agreement between our firms today? I have never given a damn about other people's feelings, and I have never made an effort to put myself in their shoes before making any decisions. Oh my goodness, Sara's remarks had such an influence on me that I started to prioritize my feelings over my thoughts before acting. Just thinking about her made my mind fill with freshness.

"Sara, please tell me about my work schedule."

"Who is Sara?" Hearing Selena's voice snapped me out of my reverie. I was so engrossed in her thoughts that I completely forgot that Selena was standing right in front of me!

"Sorry, bring me some coffee." I dismissed her from my office without answering her question. She scowled and walked out of my office.

If she were in my shoes, how would she respond to this circumstance? I'm not sure why, but I felt compelled to find out if Sara thought I was wrong to end the arrangement with Mr. Clinton.

I tried calling her, but she didn't answer. When I turned on my home's CCTV to watch her actions, my frustration increased.

What the hell? Why is she sitting with Jerry, enjoying her company? I angrily dialed her number again, but she deliberately ignored my calls. I have to ask her to come to my office so that I can keep her away from Jerry. Only then will she spend more time with me, and only then can I prevent her from turning into a homosexual.

She requested that I accompany her in the office as her assistant, but I was in such a rush in the morning that I didn't give it much thought. But in the evening, I will ask her to join me tomorrow in the office.

Selena walked into my office, and I switched off the CCTV.

"Mr. Finge, here is your black coffee." She placed the coffee on my table and grinned sensually.

"Are you in need of anything else?" At my table, she bowed and attempted to show me her breasts.

"Selena, no, thank you." My eyes did not find her breasts attractive, so I shifted my attention to my laptop screen. Even though I wanted to go back to Sara right away, I pushed myself to focus on my work.

I wish I could mix more sleeping pills into Jerry's food so that she can sleep forever. I was ecstatic to see her sound asleep in the morning. However, I fail to see why Sara finds Jerry's sound slumber so upsetting. I have to show her my love, and only then will she shift her focus from Jerry and pay attention to me.

I like the way she teases me. My thoughts go back to the morning when she woke me up by sprinkling cold water on my face. She may be so domineering at times or so innocent at others. All in all, though, I like her.

In the beginning, my junior only wanted to feel her tightness, but now my heart has always craved feeling her warmth.
