Aron POV
"Aron, where's Sara?" As soon as I entered the house, Jerry questioned me with eagerness.
"I didn't find her; she left that place before I reached there." Once again, I feel sad about my loss.
"Don't lose hope. Aron, I am sure you will find her soon." She patted my shoulder.
"I don't know Jerry; maybe I will never find her again." I let out a heavy sigh at my failure.
"Have some time to relax; I will bring coffee for you." She left me alone in the hall and walked towards the kitchen.
"Where are you, Sara? I hope you are safe and fine." I closed my eyes and thought of her again.
Who was that man? Why did he run away after seeing me?Was Uncle Joe there? No, I don't think he was Uncle Joe. What if he was Uncle Joe and tried to molest her like he did in her childhood?
When I imagined her with Uncle Joe, my blood boiled. He can't touch her now; she's my woman. But it's possible that she ran away from that place because of him; otherwise, what's the reason she ran away from her house? I'll have to go there again to find him. I am sure he will surely know something about Sara.
Sara's phone buzzed with a battery-low notification, causing my internal conversation to halt. After turning it on to charge, I tried to unlock her phone. To unlock her phone, I tried a few different patterns, but they were all incorrect.
"What are you doing, Aron?" As she followed me to my room, Jerry held a coffee mug.
"I'm trying to unlock her phone, but I'm not familiar with the security pattern. I think I'll have to call some hacker to unlock her phone." I attempted to unlock her phone once more.
"You don't need to call a hacker; I know her phone pattern." She grabbed the phone from me, drew an A pattern on it, and it instantly unlocked.
"Thank you, Jerry. Why didn't I think that she used my name initially as her phone security pattern? If I could have known this earlier, then we wouldn't have to face this problem." I opened her chat box and read all the messages.
That bastard used her kind heart to extort money from her. She only attempted to help him out of kindness; she never loved him. Reading her texts caused additional guilt to seep into my heart. She repeatedly requested a meeting with him, but he consistently declined. Now, all the pictures are clear in front of my eyes.
That rascal designed this entire trap to separate me from Sara. He is well aware of my possessiveness for her, and he took advantage of my weakness by creating misunderstandings between us. He came to meet me to fulfill his plan, and he succeeded when I divorced Sara.
God, how could I have been so naive as to not see through his malicious intentions? I wanted to kill him right now, but I had to play smart to find Sara. Only he can find her, so I have to meet him again.
"Where are you going at this late hour of the night, Aron?" When I opened the main door to go, Jerry gave me a worried look.
"I am going to meet Neil."
"You can meet him in the morning; it's too late to do so." She attempted to stop me.
"I don't want to waste my time. Perhaps, like Sara, he fled this location before we met." I got in my car and made my way to his hotel.
I told myself over and over again that I don't have to let my wrath out on him at all, but I'm not sure if I can contain it when I see his filthy face. I banged on the door to his room. He didn't open the door when I knocked, so I used the master key to open his hotel room.
"Mr. Finge, how did you enter my room?" His eyes were filled with fear as he gazed at me. When I entered his room, he was occupied with a blonde woman.
"Ups.. sorry for my wrong timing, but I want to talk to you now." When I saw that woman, I grinned and motioned for him to follow me into the hallway.
"What did you think of yourself? How could you enter my room without my permission? I'll file a police report." He erupted in rage.
"Money can buy anything, so I brought the master key to your room." I smiled sinisterly.
"You can not ruin my privacy. I will complain about you." He continues to conceal his evil side behind his innocent façade.
"Do you believe I have nothing to tell the cops? Should I report to the authorities that you've demanded a lot from me to get away from Sara and move to the UK?" I gave him a fierce glare.
To marry Sara, I offered him a large amount so that he would leave her life, but I never expected him to be so greedy that he would return to her life.
"You don't have any proof of this." When he heard me, he shrugged his shoulders.
"If that doesn't work out for us, I have your criminal history on file, which demonstrates that you are a drug supplier to the United States and a current member of the Russian mafia."
While I was reviewing his account data, my detective scrutinized all the documentation and revealed to me the methods used to create these accounts.
"How did you know about this?" After hearing me, he started to perspire.
"Great! Now tell me, where is Sara?" I already asked him about Sara, but every time he lied to me, I am sure he returned to her life for a purpose and tried to find her.
"I… I don't know about her." His tongue stammered when he saw the gun in my hand.
After learning that he had ties to the mafia, I asked my detective to prepare a gun for me so I could intimidate him. I'm not sure how I managed to point a gun at his forehead, as I've never raised my hand to threaten anyone before. Maybe this much bravery was due to my love for Sara.
"Are you going to tell me about her? Or should I pull the trigger?" I threatened him again.
"Don't shoot me, please. She contacted me two days ago from an unknown number, but she dismissed the call before I found out where she was. I'm trying to call her, but the number is dead." He exposed the data on his phone.
"Please give me that number." When I called that number from my phone, I was surprised to see my mom's number on the screen. It's the same number, so it means Sara's with my mom.
Oh my God, why am I unable to comprehend the rationale behind her repeated phone calls? I tried calling her number once again, but it appears to be out of service.
"Thanks, buddy; now you can continue your important work and tell me if she contacted you again." After giving that nervous woman a glance in the hallway corner, I turned to leave his room.
