Wrong feet

Sara POV

"Can't you control yourself for even two days, Sara?" Jerry kept making fun of me for meeting Aaron on the terrace. They believed that I went there to pursue a romantic relationship with Aaron, but they were unaware that I needed to tell him the truth.

Oh no, even after meeting him, I can't tell him the truth. Before our marriage, I must tell him the truth at all costs, but how will I meet him? If I can't meet him, I'll text him to let him know about Uncle Joe. However, since Jerry seized my phone, I haven't left this option, and she will not return it until we get married.

I had no idea they would tease me to this extent for meeting Aron before marriage. They teased me until four in the morning and wouldn't let me sleep. Because I don't often get to spend time with such wonderful people, I love their taunting. Even though they are older than I am, I still feel friendly around them. They requested that I sleep in between them, so I hugged Jerry and slept soundly.

At nine in the morning, I found myself cuddling up to the pillow. They had already left the room after rising early. I gave the cushion an even tighter hold, and last night, I returned to my thoughts. I wish his cozy presence were all around me.

I touched my lips, remembering the sensation in my body when he kissed me. When he kissed me, everything faded from my memory. If Jerry hadn't interrupted us, we wouldn't stop until we calmed the fire that ignited within our bodies. I got out of bed after checking the time and realized I was running late for breakfast. This is the only time when I can see Aaron. I rushed to the bathroom to quickly change into a jumpsuit after taking a brief shower.

The rain that fell last night gave me a cold. I walked into the dining area, sneezing the entire way. They were silently eating breakfast. I slowly said "good morning" to them before settling in my chair across from Aron. I was embarrassed by the incident from last night, so I just stared at my plate and ate my breakfast in silence.

Jerry was preoccupied with teaching her teammate about her new film, while Aron's father was reading his newspaper. Aron's mom was scrolling through her phone. I raised my head to see Aaron's face. Like me, he was eating his meal silently, staring at the food. I have to request that he meet me outside the house.

I was thinking of a way to get his attention so that I could ask him to meet me outside the house, but if I asked him loudly, then everyone would know about my plan, so I slid my feet towards his chair and touched his feet to get his attention.

I don't understand why he didn't respond to me. I caressed his feet once again, but he avoided eye contact.

Why is he not paying attention to me? I slammed my coffee mug down and shot him a furious glance. Finally, he turned to face me, only to find that everyone else was staring at me.

"Sara, don't vent out your anger on an innocent coffee mug; he didn't respond to you because that was my feet." I get embarrassed, and my cheeks get hot when I hear his dad.

"Sorry, uncle." I was too scared to turn to face them.

I sneezed loudly, and Aron sneezed with me at the same time. I sneezed three times, and he did, too. We both caught a cold from soaking up rain last night.

"Ema, I don't think we have to delay this marriage anymore; I am afraid they will run out of this house if we keep them away for any longer." When they heard Aron's father, they all burst out laughing.

"You're right—she hugged me in her sleep last night, showing how desperate they are." Jerry mocked me for hugging her, mistaking her for Aron.

"I stopped sleeping with him because of what he did to me that night." Aron's dad teased him.

"I have an important meeting to attend, so I am going now." He got up from his dining chair to save himself from the embarrassment.

"I also have some important work." Jerry was taunting me, so I sprinted to my room to save myself.

I tried to talk to him, but all of my attempts failed, and two days passed. I'm getting married to Aaron Finge today. Although I'm excited to start a new chapter in my life and am delighted about it, I also feel a little guilty about not telling him the truth. Jerry and Ema gasped at seeing me in bridal attire. I had previously worn a wedding gown, but I didn't feel engaged in the union at the time.

"Sara, you look stunning. Jerry and Ema planted a kiss on my forehead."

We reached the church at 11 a.m. All the guests were already waiting for my arrival. I glanced at Aaron as I proceeded down the aisle. He looked like a hot male character from romantic novels. I shivered just thinking about making this gorgeous man my permanent partner.

Today, the whole world witnessed our grand wedding. His dad invited billionaires and famous people not only from the United States but also from around the world. I feel nervous as his intense gaze lingers over me from head to toe. Based on the way he is staring at me, I can infer what's going through his head.

I thought back to our previous wedding when I was afraid to look him in the eye. I grinned as I thought back to how our story started. As soon as I stepped onto the stage, the priest initiated the wedding ceremony.

"Sara Grace, do you accept Aron Finge as your husband?" He questioned me.

I felt a knot in my throat, knowing that I was keeping the truth from him, but now was not the right moment to reveal it.

"Sara Grace, have you accepted Aron Finge as your husband?" The priest questioned me once more after observing my silence.

"Yes, I do." In front of Jesus, I looked into Aaron's eyes and accepted him as my husband.

"Aron Finge, do you accept Sara Grace as your wife?" He turned to stare at Aaron.

"Yes, I do." He looked at me with a smile.

"Now, you may exchange the rings." The priest requested we exchange the rings.

"Now you may kiss the bride." After exchanging rings, the priest asked Aron to kiss me.

He grabbed my waist and drew me to him, making my heart race. I could tell he was looking forward to this moment since he kept glancing at my lips during the entire wedding ceremony.

As he gently touched my lips with his, I closed my eyes.
