A storm rages over Sadan Island, the sky split apart by crackling thunder, waves crashing violently against its jagged cliffs. The atmosphere shifts unnaturally, as though the island itself is exhaling its final breath before succumbing to an ancient horror. Deep within the heart of the island, nestled inside a cavern unseen by mortal eyes, a dark lake ripples. This is no ordinary lake, but a reservoir of writhing, otherworldly liquid, churning with a malevolent energy. At its center lies a grotesque womb-like structure, its pulsing form thick with an eerie, viscous glow.
The cavern trembles. A dull heartbeat resounds through the walls, a steady thrum of something vast and beyond mortal comprehension awakening. The womb quivers, its surface stretching grotesquely before a deafening crack splits the air. Another crack follows, then another, until the structure splinters open, releasing a torrent of pitch-black fluid. A monstrous entity rises from the abyss, its twisted form beyond human understanding. Laplace has awoken.
A chilling, distorted screech echoes through the cavern, shaking the very foundations of the island. The abomination's presence warps reality, bending space and time as if the world itself rejects its existence. The sky darkens further as a suffocating aura spreads outward, its effects so immense that celestial beings from the farthest reaches of existence turn their gaze toward Earth, their expressions unreadable.
Elsewhere, deep within the core headquarters of World Guidance, alarms blare. A red emergency light bathes the war room in an ominous glow as holographic maps flicker erratically, struggling to register the anomaly. Commanders and strategists stand frozen in disbelief, unable to comprehend the readings before them.
"T-this energy signature… It's beyond anything recorded in history." One researcher stammers, his fingers trembling over his tablet.
"Spatial distortions are increasing exponentially. The anomaly is spreading outward at an accelerating rate!" Another voice shouts.
Jin Shang stands at the center of the chaos, his eyes narrowing as he stares at the shifting data streams.
Lysander, standing beside him, whistles lowly. "I've seen some crazy shit in my life, but this… This is on a whole different level."
Kaelros grips his sword, his normally laid-back expression replaced with grim focus. "We need to move now. If we wait any longer, we may not have a world left to save."
Jin exhales sharply, his mind already calculating the possibilities.
"We head to Sadan Island immediately," Jin declares, his voice cutting through the chaos like a blade. "Assemble the strongest forces we have. This isn't just another battle."
Lia steps forward, her sapphire eyes burning with determination. "Then we'll put an end to it before it spreads any further. But at first we should gave this monster a name. So I named him, Laplace and our project is Eleminate The Laplace."
Everyone agreed.
Jin Closed his eyes and tried to sense this mana. But the Laplace's Mana is so ferocious and ominous. His mere mana pressure broke Jin's focus. Jin eyes opened quickly. His hands are trembling but why ? He didn't know.
Next morning the team gathers on the airship bound for Sadan Island and other celestials were in World Guidence to operate them. the tension is palpable. Lysander leans against the window, watching the storm raging over their destination.
"I swear, every time we think we've faced the worst, something even more messed up shows up," he mutters.
"Maybe the universe just enjoys watching us suffer," Kaelros replies dryly.
"Or maybe we're just the only ones crazy enough to keep fighting," Rin adds with a small smirk.
Jin, standing at the helm, tightens his grip. The image of the monstrous entity emerging from the womb lingers in his mind. Something about Laplace feels fundamentally wrong, as if he isn't just another enemy—but a force meant to rewrite reality itself.
As the island nears, a wave of dread washes over them. The storm overhead isn't natural—it's being shaped, controlled, and fueled by the sheer malice emanating from the creature.
Then, as if sensing their arrival, Laplace releases another deafening roar. The air itself trembles.
And the battle for existence begins.
