Chapter 139: Echoes of Creation and the Rising Storm

The pale shimmer of the Lunar World bathed the land in gentle silver light as Jin and Nyreth descended slowly from the skies, accompanied by Velka. The air was silent, reverent, as though even the stars held their breath.

Nyreth tilted his head, his eyes narrowed. "Back to the moon? Master why did we come here again."

Jin chuckled, brushing his hair back. "Not exactly. There are... things I must do here."

He walked to the edge of the Lunar Lake, kneeling by the shimmering waters. With delicate care, he scooped a handful and infused it with his chaos essence, sparks of white and black swirling into the liquid like a cosmic storm. Then, softly whispering a prayer to the unknown, he let it drop onto the ground.

From the glowing soil, a strange creature emerged—its body the size of a small lion cub, but with soft scales instead of fur, a dinosaur's sturdy build, and an adorably goofy face that immediately melted hearts. Its colors were a brilliant, impossible shade of crimson pink.

It looked up at Jin and let out a squeaky roar, tumbling into his lap.

Velka blinked. "Is that... a prehistoric kitten?"

Jin laughed, eyes gleaming with childlike wonder. "I will name him Eres."

A few moments later, the lake rumbled again—and this time, a majestic dragon burst forth, its wings wide like shadows under the moon, its eyes a bright starlit gold. It landed with a thud and gave Jin an expectant snort.

The dragon clearly wanted affection.

"Don't tell me," Nyreth said, arms crossed. "This one's jealous."

Jin, grinning, approached and scratched the dragon's head. "You're a big baby, huh? Fine. I'll name you Nyxses."

Both familiars purred simultaneously—yes, even the dragon—and Nyreth muttered, "Great. A pink dino-lion and a cuddle-dragon. Our army's terrifying."

Jin smiled, but his eyes turned thoughtful. "They're not just cute pets. Eres was created from pure Chaos and the Lunar Lake. And Nyxses—he was born from Chaos, the Lake, and my true dragon essence. They're... meaningful."

Nyreth raised a brow. "Then why those names?"

Jin hesitated.

His mind drifted back to a dream—one he had forgotten, or perhaps chosen to forget. A strange, recurring vision from when he first became the True King. In the dream, he wandered through an eternal darkness, guided only by instinct, until he discovered a door. When he opened it, light spilled in—and he found himself in a serene, impossible realm.

There stood two figures. Erebus and Nyx.

"Erebus...? Nyx?" Jin called in disbelief.

Erebus chuckled, arms crossed. "Jin, always the dramatic one. Happy to see us?"

"I—of course!" Jin stepped forward. "But how...?"

Nyx's voice was softer. "There's no time for full answers. We exist here only briefly. Our enemy is not just darkness—it is time."

Jin's heart pounded. "Then tell me what matters."

Erebus nodded. "You defeated Gaia, ended Olympus, broke the cycle. But Gaia... was just a medium."

"What...?"

Nyx stepped closer. "There are forces just like Monarchs. Opposites to them. Entities of pure light—equal in strength, but alien in concept. They've noticed you."

Jin's throat tightened. "Who are they?"

"I don't know," she said. "Only that their attention has shifted toward you. And they seek something Gaia once tried to control—"

Erebus interjected. "A key. It's hidden somewhere between realms. That's why you're here."

Then suddenly, the world trembled.

Their forms began to fade.

"Wait!" Jin called. "Don't go—"

Erebus placed a hand on Jin's shoulder. "The Abyss chose you as heir. But I choose you to know the truth."

Nyx smiled and hugged Jin. "Find the key... before they do."

And then—they vanished.

Jin's eyes opened, standing once more before the Lake.

Nyreth blinked. "You okay? You just spaced out for five minutes staring at your pets."

Jin smirked faintly. "I hope that answers your question."

Jin turned and and opened a gate.

Nyreth blinked. " What's that my master ?"

Jin smiled. " Door of Soul Realm."

The doors of the Soul Realm creaked open—not with noise, but with the weight of eternity. Jin stepped forward into a world painted in moonlight and remembrance. The air shimmered like glass, bending light into gentle spirals. Lakes stretched like mirrors of stardust, and each ripple carried the laughter, the pain, the whispers of those long gone.

He paused.

Even after everything… this place was beautiful.

"So this is where they rest… Not in silence, but in memory."

His mother, Eva.

"Jin… even if I disappear, know that a mother's love never fades. "

His father, Han Jin Hyuk.

"I became the monster they feared… so they would never see the boy behind me. Even if my name becomes cursed, I'd do it again—for you."

Jin whispered

"You were never the monster, dad… You were the fire that burned so I could rise from ash. Thank you dad for all of this. "

His little sister, Lillian:

"Oppa… I was scared. But you always held my hand. In the next life, I'll protect you. So don't cry, okay?"

Arden, his mentor:

"I stood with you not because I had to… but because I believed in you. Don't carry my death like a weight—make it wings."

Kaelros, brother in arms:

"You were my last hope. Even if I fade, let my soul become your strength."

Lysander, his best friend:

"Jin… walk forward, even if it's alone. But know—our steps echo with yours, forever."

Rin, his dear friend:

"You made me feel alive. That was enough. Now live enough for both of us."

Chris, his brother-in-law:

"Heh, I always looked up to you. Now become someone even the stars fear."

Athena, his loyal follower and his one and only ally:

"Burn Olympus. Break the chains. You are not just their end… you are our beginning."

And Lia, his heart, soul and even his existence, everything.

"Even if my soul shatters across universes, a part of me will always find its way to you. I love you, Jin. I always did."

Jin fell to his knees.

The wind wept with him.

He clenched his trembling fists.

And whispered.

"You all… died believing in me."

"You all gave your last breaths… so I could breathe."

His voice cracked.

"You never asked to be heroes. You never begged for glory. And yet… you stood by me. You fell for me. You loved me."

A tear streamed down his face.

"How could I ever call myself worthy?"

"But I swear to you—this is not your end. Not like this. Not while I still stand. Not while I still bleed."

He rose, holding his hand toward the sky.

"You gave your lives for me. Now I'll give my eternity for you."

With trembling hands, Jin gathered their souls—now glowing brighter than before, no longer shattered. He returned with them to the Lunar World, where Velka and his familiars waited.

The Lunar Lake gleamed under the twin moons. Silver mist curled like divine breath across its surface.

Velka stepped beside him and smiled.

"Even now… they follow you."

"No," Jin said softly, "They lead me."

He carefully placed each soul into the lake. One by one, the waters shimmered, transforming into radiant silhouettes, their new forms rising in divinity.

Eres nuzzled Jin's arm. Nyxses spread his wings and let out a soft growl, like a proud guardian.

Velka joked with a light laugh, "This reminds me of the first time I saw you naked."

Jin rolled his eyes. "Seriously? Now?"

They both laughed.

Then Velka stepped forward and said with pride,

"You're not alone now. I will always support you and stand beside you."

He laughed, shaking his head. "This time... I'm bringing them back as Outerversal Deities."

Velka folded her arms. "A new race."

Jin blinked. "What do you mean?"

"Monarchs, Overlord. But this—" she pointed to the mix of light and darkness surrounding them—"This is something new. But I think Lillian will awaken just like you—balancing both forces."

" You mean Monarch of Balance again ?", Jin Asked.

Velka nodded.

Jin smiled. " So I will name this race Selene the nickname of Aurelia, my previous life mother.

As the lake glowed brighter, and their loved ones began to take form again—stronger, beautiful, divine—Jin looked up to the sky.

"Now… I've brought you home."

Nyreth smiled. '' That's great my lord." But no answer came from him. He turned back

And then, with a final breath of moonlight, Jin, Velka, Eres, and Nyxses vanished from the lake—

They landed in a realm of crimson skies and molten peaks—The Domain of Endless Change.

Before them stood a being draped in fractured light and endless shadow—Zhel-vorah, the Monarch of Endless Change.

He turned slowly, a grin playing on his lips.

"So... my son finally comes to visit."
