Millianaire

As they finally approached the tall man, whose beautiful face was covered in the blueish ray of light, looking really engrossed in whatever it was that he was looking at, Navier couldn't help but wonder if he was real at all.

"Mr Millanaire, your guest has arrived." The attendant informed, and that was when the beautiful man looked up to finally acknowledged their presence.

'Green.' Navier noted in her mind, 'his eyes are green. They're really beautiful, I couldn't make them out the last time we met.' Her heart had long been hammering loud and hard against her chest as soon as she took in his presence.

"I will be in standby when you need me." The attendant bowed and then took his leave.

"Have a seat." He offered, "Or are you just going to stand there?" Navier knocked herself back to order.

'Calm yourself, Navier. I know its not everyday that we get to see a beautiful man, but first impressions are everything. Do not disappoint Jenna.' She sat down on the comfy chair.

The seat was a curved like the shape of a circle, capable of fitting in four people in counting, and then the round table, was centered in the midst of the chair. The interior looked so dazzling that she couldn't believe her eyes, especially with the man in front of her.

'His light skin looks really healthy. He has a sharp jawline, a well defined nose. Look at those thick, large and arched eyebrows, those red full love shaped lips! And are those dimples?!'

"I really didn't expect you to be punctual on our first meeting, I'm impressed." He complimented. Usually his previous dates were always ten minutes late, due to some excessive preparations or something else, leaving him waiting.

'She didn't waste much time. There's still eleven minutes left till it was 6:30.'

Navier played with her fingers under the table as she answered, starting with a stutter. "W-well, its our first meeting. It'd be rude of me to keep you waiting, when you're the one who initiated this meeting."

'She's honest and considerate, that's a first.' He noted. "I have questions." He informed.

"Of course. I'm ready." Navier readied herself for his brutal attack.

"Why do you want to marry me so badly? You don't even know me." There it was, his atomic bomb.

"Well, um..." she blinked searching for answers (lies).

'I can't tell him the reason why. It'll ruin everything.'

"Because, your rich and handsome. That's the only reason, I swear." She gave herself a mental pat on her back. 'That's a safe answer. Well done Navier.'

When she threw him a look, she found him staring back at her, like she had just escaped the ward. And soon after the silence, his bewitching laughter followed suit; showing off his set of pearly whites, and cute dimples; her heart skipped a beat.

"Are you usually this comical?" The man asked after catching his breath.

"I don't know, but I was serious."

It was now his turn to look at her, strangely. "Hmm, okay then." He instantly agreed, turning serious that it surprised the lady.

"I'll need you to sign these." He snapped his fingers and a tall man dressed in a black suit appeared.

'Where did he come from? I didn't see anyone on my way here.' The man placed the briefcase he held on the table, gave a bow and walked away.

It was then that the realization dawned on her. 'Wait, the attendant told me the whole building had been booked. Could it be...?' Navier was now staring at him as he unclipped the case, bringing out a bunch of files to place them on the table.

"You need to sign here and agree to the terms and conditions. You can make your own suggestions, if necessary." He slid the file to her.

Navier meekly uttered the word, "okay." As she first of all surveyed the contract in front of her. She signed in her signature with trembling hands.

"Having second thoughts?" He indirectly mocked as he watched her trembling fingers.

"No!" She loudly declared, "of course not!" She almost leapt off her seat, suddenly signing in her signature like she was attending some press conference. The man was utterly amused by her attitude.

"Here it is." She said as she passed the file back to him. She watched as he signed in his signature, shutting the file close.

"Now that we've both signed the contract." He suddenly turned serious, looking at her. "Let's discuss about the terms and the comditions of this contract."

The way he said it caused her stomach to churn in discomfort. "You can protest against some of my terms and conditions, but I will only allow a few." He informed her, tarnishing her ray of hope.

"Alright, I will try my best to adhere to them." The lady spoke in affirmation.

"And you're sure you won't regret it?" His green eyes gazed into her brown orbs.

Due to his bewitching eyes, the lady answered without thinking. "I won't." Her response casted a sly smile on his face.

"Perfect." He uttered. "Let's order something before we get into it." He suggested and soon called for a waiter.
