Valery's Gratitude

Valery didn't answer and suddenly just became silent. 

Thinking that he might have said something wrong, Jay was about to tell her to forget about his question. 

But just then, Valery opened her mouth and started talking. 

"...I told you as well yesterday, right? I've been stressed and everything with my life back in Cebu."

"Actually, school is just a small part of the cause of my stress."

Turning her eyes back into the horizon, Valery continued, 

"What's really causing me stress back home is my family."

Hearing that, Jay's curiosity was piqued. 

From what he noticed with Valery, he concluded that she is someone from a wealthy family. 

For her to be having problems with her family, it sounds just like a story you'll see from a tv series. 

While Jay is having such thoughts, Valery doesn't stop talking. 

"Me and my dad actually don't get along. My dad owns a company in Mindanao and most of his time was spent there."
