"Don't think because we are in a hospital I wouldn't shoot you," Aaron snapped, his voice cold and wild.
The blood bank became tense. Gloom choked the air. Nurses froze and doctors held their breath. Nobody wanted to make a mistake in moving an inch. However, Francis let out a laugh.
He moved towards Aaron.
He stood in front of the gun.
" Do it. Shoot me, Mr. Vertecio," Francis growled.
"Go on, but just know. If I die, Mina is going to look for me"
" Are you insane, Francis. We are in a hospital for goodness' sake. We need to save Mina and this is how you guys are acting?" Naarah exclaimed.
Rage filled his eyes. Aaron pressed the gun against Francis' chest. He had had enough of his bravery, he would get something to say if Mina asked him where he was. And going to make sure he doesn't survive this.
Aaron pulled the trigger, and he shot Francis in his chest. Closer to his heart but not too close to kill him.
Francis' eyes dilated; he gritted his teeth. He stared into Aaron's eyes. There were no emotions. He looked at his dead in the eye. He looked like he could do it again if he asked him to shoot him.
Aaron pulled his gun away from Francis, and he blew the smoke away from the gun before he handed it to his guard. He stared as Francis hit the ground. He lowered himself to him,
" I could have stayed to watch you die but, you saved my girl and I'm grateful. But listen. Mina Angels is mine and so is our baby. Take care." Aaron said.
