In a world that is full of beast tamers, Samuel who lives with his sole parent, his father, is faced with a crisis when their village is attacked.
It's on this occasion that he finds out that his father was also a beast tamer. But his strength was not capable of dealing with the beast that had attacked.
His beast is killed and he suffers a backlash that leads to him being bedridden. As for the beast that attacked, it retreated after killing almost all the villagers.
During his father's dying moments, he reveals that Samuel held a deep power within him and that he should go out and explore it. They had hidden in that village for over 18 years, to avoid the exploitation of his talent.
As he finally leaves the village for the first time as long as he could remember, he finally ventures into the world, with a big secret hidden within him.

The Ancient Beast Tamer Bloodline

Samuel's brows rose slightly upon hearing Malia's words. The person that Samuel had told Malia to keep an eye on with a suspect of being a member of the Night Dawn Association.

It was just a suspicion, and Samuel had not yet proved it. After all, the only guess that he could make was that this person possessed some form of resentment towards him simply because they were from that association.

But unless proven, Samuel was not willing to take action, lest he ended up killing someone by mistake. And now, this person going out of the city during such a situation was definitely an indication of something.

With a monster tide that had been preparing to attack the city, it was clear that nobody within the city was supposed to be venturing out in the wilderness. Otherwise, if they encountered a large number of monsters, or a monster that was beyond what they could handle, they would only end up dying.
