A Fight To Remember

The air was thick with tension as Nathan, Scarlett, and Leona burst through the bushes. Their breath came in ragged gasps, but the adrenaline coursing through their veins kept them moving. Behind them, the sound of engines grew louder, the unmistakable hum of drones cutting through the morning air.

"They're scanning the area!" Leona shouted, ducking low as a shadow passed overhead.

"If we don't find cover soon, we're done for!" she said as fear is so evident in her eyes.

Nathan grabbed Scarlett's arm, steadying her as she stumbled over a root.

"Keep moving!" he urged. His heart was pounding, but his voice held a calm urgency that steadied her.

Scarlett tightened her grip on his hand, drawing strength from him.

"I'm fine, just… don't let go." She said panting heavily.

Leona suddenly stopped on the track, her eyes scanning the terrain.

"Over there!" She pointed to a rocky outcrop partially concealed by grasses.
