The interior of Grayson's estate was very quiet and very huge. Nathan, Scarlett, and Caleb moved with precision; their footsteps muted as they moved deeper into the building. Every creak and murmur of the massive structure sent jolts of adrenaline through their veins.
Scarlett tightened her grip on the small tablet in her hand, her mind working in overdrive to disable the estate's remaining surveillance systems.
"Give me a second," she whispered, crouching near a console tucked into the hallway. Her fingers danced across the screen, and a series of green indicators blinked to life.
