After cleaning the last bit of meat off the last bone, Johnny patted his belly contentedly; he had earned another ten dollars today.

He was quite satisfied with his life now, and since he had paid for two quarters' worth of fees last time, it meant that he would have no expenditure on security fees for the next six months.

It had hurt to pay all at once at first, but just like John had said, the money hadn't disappeared; it was just paid in advance.
