The police were hesitant to retaliate and could only retreat back into their vehicles. If it hadn't been for Lance's timely arrival, they might have even turned the patrol car over!


Seeing Lance arrive calmed the agitated crowd somewhat. He had a brief conversation with a few of the leading workers on the inside, and the gathered workers dispersed instantly.


The police present were from the City Police Department, not the port area.


"Lance, it seems you're highly respected around here," the officer said, his statement's implications unclear. Lance simply smiled and nodded.

The officer produced the search warrant. After Lance had read it, he handed it to Sean, "You can proceed with the search, but do not touch the files; they are a hassle to organize."
