On the third day of the battle, the same method was used to besiege the outer walls of the monster nest.
This time, the monsters only briefly resisted before they retreated to their second defensive position. The two-headed ogre warrior that fought with Lucas yesterday didn't even appear. It was as if the monsters had given up on defending the outer walls.
The army occupied the walls and isolated the monsters, trapping them within their nest.
And so, the third day of the battle ended in such a manner.
Inside Alaric's tent, Lucas came to visit him.
"Why did they give up on the outer wall?"
Hearing this, Alaric furrowed his eyebrows. He was also confused.
With the monsters trapped in the nest, they would have no way of searching for food. They would eventually starve to death which would gradually weaken their soldiers.
Suddenly, Alaric seemed to have realized something.
Don't tell me…
