The staircase waterfall with a vertical drop of 150 meters connected Purple Island and Dahe Island. This waterfall is renowned as one of the most representative giant dragon landforms in the world because its flow is upwards from below.


The seawater falls around Purple Island, converges into numerous tributaries into Shenzhi River, ascends the waterfall, crosses the first tier to Dahe Island, crosses the second tier toward Qiongge Island, and ultimately falls to the sea at the summit of Ise Divine Peak, completing the cycle.
