"You used to be a thug?"
Jiang Linda sat in the passenger seat and, after hesitating for quite some time, finally turned to look at Li Feng and asked the question she had been holding back for a while.
"Yep."
Li Feng yep'd.
Jiang Linda blinked, clearly Li Feng's yep didn't satisfy her: "And now?"
Jiang Linda thought about the cargo ship Li Feng had taken her on, the armed people they encountered, and the smuggled cars she later saw on that ship; this guy might not be the small-time street thug she imagined, but more like a big shot.
Of course, this was all Jiang Linda could piece together because she was knocked unconscious by Li Feng and left on the yacht before she could see the latter half of these events.
Jiang Linda finally understood where Li Feng's hit-first-ask-questions-later temperament came from. It wasn't by accident that her boss Zhou Jie had suffered at his hands. If anyone had known this guy was a tramp, who would have dared to mess with him?
