"Knock, knock, knock!"
Before leaving the office, someone knocked on the door.
"Come in," Aoyama Xiu Xin said indifferently.
Nakamura Shinichi opened the door, quickly walked up to the desk, and bowed, "Chief, you asked me to keep track of the prosecutor's office's progress, and I just found out that Noda has been indicted by the prosecution. The trial begins in three days."
"So soon?" Aoyama Xiu Xin furrowed his brows.
He immediately felt something was off since both the prosecution office and the court were always busy, especially with the Tokyo District Court and the local prosecution handling heavier cases.
Therefore, unless it's an extremely serious case,
it's impossible to jump the queue; even normal murder cases take ten days to half a month before being brought to trial.
Some even take months before charges are pressed.
Nakamura Shinichi nodded slightly, "Yes, I also found it odd, so I hurried to inform you."
"Which prosecutor?" Aoyama Xiu Xin asked.
