Chapter 161: The Cunning Yoshida Tomo, Fujimoto Ryosuke's Concerns

Half an hour later, just past 9:30 in the morning.

A Toyota van and a Mercedes sedan pulled up in front of a large jewelry shop in the Harbor District. The doors opened and seven people got out. The shop owner, accompanied by six men wearing hats and masks, walked in.

"Good morning, boss!"

The employees, seeing this, bowed and greeted warmly.

"You can all leave for today. Take the day off, and leave the keys to the counters. I'll do an inventory check," the owner said, waving his employees off.

The employees looked at each other in confusion; they had only just arrived for work and were being sent home so abruptly.

Was this a stroke of good luck?

"What are you standing there for? Do you love your jobs that much?" the owner, worried about his wife and children, scolded them with impatience.

"Hi!"

Only then did the employees snap out of it and, after bowing to the owner, they took their belongings and left.
