D19. Shake Dance and Bunny Bang

The guards, relieved after the hero climbed up a tree to rest, began another round of searching.

But no matter where they looked, there was no sign of the alleged Elf Rabbit.

"Still nothing..." The guards sighed in unison.

"Is there really such a spirit here? Couldn't she have been mistaken..." Guard A lowered his voice, glancing at the Green Snake, which presumably didn't understand their language.

"Don't say such things. Didn't the coachman know as well? And since there's nothing else we can do, we have to keep going until the end." Guard B sighed.

"You should have learned too, the most unacceptable thing when carrying out military orders is to have distracting thoughts and act on one's own."

"Alright, you're right." Guard A chuckled bitterly.

"No matter what, it's almost over." Guard C said coolly, tidying up the remaining arrows.

The pungent smell of the Magic Potion had faded a lot; the next wave of Magic Creatures would likely be the last.
