Li Wei stood in the center of the village, his chest puffed out as he surveyed his new followers. The newcomers, led by Zhao Xian, had integrated into the sect quickly, but it wasn't all smooth sailing. Their presence brought an unspoken tension, one that Li Wei could feel growing every day.
"Alright, listen up!" Li Wei called to the group gathered before him. "We've got a lot of work to do! You're not here to sit around and relax. We're going to build the most powerful sect this region has ever seen!"
Lin Yue, standing at his side, shot him a skeptical look. "You're getting carried away again."
Li Wei ignored her, raising his hand dramatically. "This isn't just about strength! It's about strategy, unity, and...style!"
Xuan Tian, who had been lounging lazily against a tree, raised an eyebrow. "Style? What are you talking about? Are we building a sect or a fashion show?"
"Both!" Li Wei declared with a grin. "We need to be the strongest and the most stylish! Don't worry; I've got everything under control!"
The group exchanged unsure glances.
"I don't think anyone here is worried about style," Lin Yue muttered, rolling her eyes.
Zhao Xian, standing slightly off to the side, stepped forward with a calm demeanor. "Sect Master Li Wei, your vision is admirable, but we need to focus on strengthening the sect first. Style can come later."
Li Wei nodded, though his mind was already racing ahead to the grand plans he had in mind. "Yeah, yeah, strength is important. But it's going to be hard to gain resources and respect if we don't look the part."
Zhao Xian didn't seem to agree, but he didn't press the matter. Instead, he turned to the others. "We should begin training the younger disciples. They've got potential, but they need guidance."
Li Wei clapped his hands. "Great! That's what I like to hear! But how are we going to do that with such limited resources?"
Zhao Xian raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled by the question. "You're the Sect Master, aren't you? You have the power to allocate resources however you see fit."
Li Wei scratched his head. "Well, yeah, but I didn't exactly get a treasure vault when I became Sect Master. We've got to start from the ground up."
Zhao Xian's expression softened. "That's why we need to focus on the fundamentals first. With our combined strength, we can hunt beasts for their spiritual cores, gather herbs, and start training our disciples the right way."
Li Wei grinned. "That sounds more like it! But how long is all this going to take? I've got big plans, and I don't want to waste time with small-time tasks."
"We'll take it one step at a time, Sect Master," Zhao Xian said with a slight bow. "Even the mightiest tree starts as a small sapling."
Li Wei groaned. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. I'm not an idiot, you know."
Zhao Xian gave him a small smile. "No one's saying you are. But this is a long-term project. Let's focus on building a solid foundation first."
Li Wei sighed dramatically. "Fine. A solid foundation it is. But mark my words, I'm going to make this sect the strongest one in the entire region, and I'll make sure everyone knows my name."
As the group began to disperse, Li Wei's mind was already spinning with ideas. He had a long way to go, but he was determined to make his mark on this world.

Meanwhile, hidden in the dense forest surrounding the village, a shadowy figure watched the activities of the newly-formed Heavenly Cloud Sect with keen interest.
"The Sect Master is bold, but his ambitions may lead him to dangerous paths," the figure murmured to himself, his eyes narrowing.
He was no stranger to the world of cultivators, and he could sense the unrest brewing in the sect's future. The group led by Li Wei had potential, but they were far from ready to face the true threats that lurked in the world.
"I'll have to keep an eye on this sect," the figure whispered. "It seems it will be more trouble than I first expected."
