"Don't move from here, I'll go check over there," Sali looked towards the cave, and instructed, "If I encounter anything unexpected, then you all should run immediately."
Halfway through his sentence, he suddenly felt something was off, because the suspension bridge had collapsed, leaving the mercenaries with nowhere to run.
"Let me go, deputy captain, my life isn't worth much anyway." Offered one of the mercenaries.
"Stop, don't say that," Sali waved his hand and walked towards the cave, "In my eyes, you are all priceless treasures."
"Deputy captain..." The mercenary was moved to tears.
Sali carefully observed the surging Abyss, something he had never seen before, only recently learning about it through intelligence gathered from Bed City.
He found it difficult to describe such a thing, and dared to approach without triggering anything unusual.
"It doesn't seem to attack me?"
