Chapter 81: Because he's my husband

After the Marking process was over, they chatted for two long days, knowing more about one another and Lu Zhen then left. He also obtained a few more fifth grade and even some sixth grade mystic plants. Lu Zhen left the elf kingdom exactly two days later, as to where they went, only the wind knew.

In the throne room, the elders had yet again there and seemed to be discussing something important. "My Queen, is it really okay for you to be with him? He is afterall the Demon Prince, his path is one of blood and slaughter, climbing on top of countless corpses and even reaching the top, he still has to battle the Heavens. He surely won't last long, plus, the Demon Clan has many enemies who'd stop at nothing to stop him from unsealing the Demon Clan."

"Don't worry, nothing will happen to him. I'm sure of it." In just two days, she had complete trust in Lu Zhen. "But how can you be so sure?" "Because he's my husband." her words were illogical as can be, completely blinded by love. The elders could only keep quiet,afraid of angering the Queen.

Lu Zhen left the Ice terrain about five days later, Dai Heng's head was again hung on his waist, he had previously put it away because he didn't want the elves to get a badimpression of him. "Master, why didn't you bring the lady master with you. With her around, we'd have less problems to face and we'd cultivate without any worries, she can even give us guidance."

"Frost, would you die for the woman you love? Would you give up your life for her's?" Frost nodded without hesitation, it would be the love of his love, giving up his life was nothing. He would even give up his cultivation base if he had to. He wondered why Lu Zhen would ask such a stupid question.

"I wouldn't die for the woman I love. If it comes to a situation where it's either yours or her life then you've failed your woman." Lu Zhen said but Frost was still confused so Lu Zhen had to explain further. 

"When you have to choose between yours and her life then that means you're weak. As a man, a cultivator, you shouldn't die for your woman but kill for them. Kill all those who threaten her life and for that to happen, you need power. How can you obtain power if you're constantly relying on your woman, how can you obtain power if you depend on your woman, how can you obtain power if you fight for it." Frost suddenly understood his words. 

"You can only walk your own path and not for others to walk it for you. You can fight your own battles and have the people around you cheer for you and when it's really difficult, that's when you can ask for their help. If you give it your all, you will have it all. Never forget these words!" Frost seemed to be enlightened as he blankly followed Lu Zhen. 

His cultivation level was steadily increasing and he grew a few inches taller. Lu Zhen also thought of the past and he couldn't help but sigh. He saw just how naive he previously was and how narrow minded he was. His state of mind had changed a lot compared to before. 

As he was lost in thoughts, a familiar scent attacked his nose which made him smile evilly. "Finally, it's time to go hunting. Little lamb, patiently wait for me to slaughter and take your pathetic life." 

He put Frost in his Spiritual World as he was still in his enlightened state and quickly disappeared from where he stood. His speed was extremely fast, he had already travelled five kilometers with every step he took. As he covered more distance, the scent became stronger and stronger. Lu Zhen knew that he was getting closer to his target and this excited him. 

After a day of travel, he stood in a desert land. The scent was very strong here, Lu Zhen followed the scent but some problems literally popped out of the ground. It was a bunch of Sandstorm Scorpions, in this desert, dealing with them would be a bit troublesome for many but not for Lu Zhen. 

He stomped hard on the ground which made the ground sink in and a small crater was formed. His chains then killed all the scorpions that had fallen into the crater. He continued on his journey which was filled with scorpions. He became annoyed with these scorpions and decided to pull them out by the roots. He controlled one of the Sandstorm Scorpions using his soul and it travelled underground with him. 

There were a lot of passages below the ground which they probably used by the scorpions to travel, the scorpion that he was controlling took many twists and turns inside the underground passages until he reached an underground cavern. He didn't come across any other Sandstorm Scorpions on his way here which surprised him, he guessed that the Sandstorm Scorpion in his control avoided all other scorpions.

Entering the cavern, they travelled in the dark for a while and of course Lu Zhen wasn't affected by the dark. They travelled for an hour or so until they reached a huge open pitch black space, inside this space, six red lights could be seen in the darkness. The red lights shone brighter as they came closer to the scorpion Lu Zhen had been controlling. 

Then, two scissor-like claws ripped the scorpion apart like it was a piece of paper. This scorpion was huge and shone in bronze skin. It was the Bronze Armoured Scorpion King which had been ordering the Sandstorm Scorpions to hunt the humans. Lu Zhen didn't try to hide his presence or anything like that in front of this World Realm scorpion. 

The scorpion's red eyes shone brighter as it attacked Lu Zhen without any warning, Lu Zhen dodged its attack simply. His black chains shot out from his body and floated in the air. The Bronze Armoured Scorpion King was dead the minute Lu Zhen took out his black chains.
