Xiang tells her mother, "I have to go out and see the world. I want to experience what is happening outside." Her mother refuses to let her go, warning that it is very dangerous out there and that she shouldn't go, especially not alone. Xiang responds, "Shi Bao will go with me. Don't worry, we will be back in three to four months."
Even then, Madam Li refuses and tries to convince her husband. Xiang pleads, "Please, let me go." Mr. Li finally agrees but says, "Convince your mother. If she agrees, you can go. I have no objection."
Xiang says, "I will convince her." She tells her mother, "Children should be allowed to explore the world. Maybe we can learn something new. If we stay confined to the house, we won't be able to experience anything. How will I face the outside world if I'm always sheltered? I have grown stronger, and I know martial arts now."
Despite her arguments, Madam Li remains firm, saying, "If you go, you must take a bodyguard with you."
Xiang, determined, requests again, "Please let me go. I can take care of myself now. I am capable and strong." After much pleading, her mother finally agrees, but it takes a day or two for her to relent. Xiang has always obeyed her mother, and now, finally, Madam Li gives in.
Both Xiang and Shi Bao prepare to leave early the next morning. Madam Li makes elaborate preparations, cooking a lot of food for them. She also packs various snacks for their journey, telling them to eat if they get hungry. Among the snacks are many dry sweets.
Xiang, noticing the heavy bags, asks, "Mother, you've packed so much. How will we carry all of this?"
Madam Li replies, "Take a horse. It will be easier to travel with one, and you will be much more comfortable." Xiang agrees, as she knows how to ride very well. Wen Shia had taught her how to ride just in case she found herself in trouble.
Xiang feels a little emotional remembering this, but she quietly climbs onto the horse. She hugs her mother, saying, "Don't worry, we'll be back soon, safe and sound."
With that, both Xiang and Shi Bao begin their journey. They both ride the same horse since Shi Bao doesn't know how to ride.
Meanwhile, Wen Shia is given a task: to search for the Element Stone. This time, he decides to travel in disguise, changing countries and adopting the appearance of a simple common man to avoid being recognized. No one suspects that these humble farmers could be gods or anything extraordinary.
Wen Shia stops at an inn on his journey and orders dinner. His attire is unremarkable, making it difficult for anyone to recognize him. He sits at a corner table alone.
A short while later, two girls in casual clothes enter and ask for two seats, requesting a hearty meal. A waiter approaches and asks, "What would you like to order?"
One of the girls replies, "We want chicken noodles, chicken soup, fried chicken, and some delicious dessert."
Shi Bao comments, "Why are you ordering so much? We just ate a little while ago. Are you really hungry again?"
Xiang responds, "Yes, I'm feeling a bit hungry. The joy of eating is different, and if the food is good, we might just rent a room here for the night. We'll leave tomorrow morning if we find a better place to stay along the way."
A while later, the waiter brings their food, and they both enjoy their meal. As they eat, Wen Shia hears a familiar voice. He glances over and, after a moment of confusion, recognizes Xiang.
