Chapter 167: Zhou Yi’s Support and Her Unexpected Charm

"Ms. Zhou Yi, you're really quite fiery," Qian Ran murmured.

In the heat of the moment, everything unfolded so suddenly.

Qian Ran hadn't expected Zhou Yi's passion to break through so completely. Perhaps it was because Zhou Yi had been alone for so long.

As a mature woman whose husband, Fang Yu, was frequently absent, she couldn't help but feel neglected.

But even after winning Zhou Yi over, Qian Ran was a bit disappointed not to receive any system rewards. Although Zhou Yi was beautiful, she still didn't meet certain standards required for rewards.

Zhou Yi casually put her clothes back on, showing little shyness even as Qian Ran continued to gaze at her.

"Ms. Zhou Yi, you did well today," Qian Ran teased, appreciating her graceful movements as she dressed. A mature woman like Zhou Yi hardly needed any guidance from him.

Zhou Yi rolled her eyes, her expression filled with flirtatious charm. It was hard to believe that the strict and imposing Zhou Yi had such a softer, hidden side.

This contrast in her personality was intriguing.

"If your students knew about this side of you, I wonder what they'd think," Qian Ran chuckled.

"You cheeky little brat," Zhou Yi retorted, giving Qian Ran a playful pinch. "Acting as if I was the one who seduced you." She scoffed, knowing full well it was Qian Ran who had relentlessly pursued her.

Would she have ever walked down this path if not for Qian Ran's persistence?

But now that she had, there was no turning back.

Unlike Xian Lin'er, who was in a sham marriage with Qian Duoduo, her marriage with Fang Yu was entirely different. If this affair ever became public, Zhou Yi would face complete disgrace and public scorn.

"Aren't we both just getting what we need?" Qian Ran smirked, wrapping his arm around Zhou Yi's waist.

Zhou Yi felt a pang of regret, realizing that her place in Qian Ran's heart would never be significant. She would never gain his love.

Yet, the brief happiness she had felt was intoxicating, an unparalleled moment of release. If her earlier feelings for Qian Ran had been subtle, she now found herself undeniably drawn to him.

She couldn't help but think of Fang Yu. Why hadn't she let Mu Jin be with him back then? If she had, she wouldn't be in this dilemma now.

In Qian Ran's eyes, she would likely remain just a casual distraction.

"I won't let Fang Yu touch me again," Zhou Yi declared firmly. Though she hadn't had a choice before, she intended to take control from now on.

Qian Ran raised an eyebrow. "What will you do about Mr. Fang?"

Zhou Yi bit her lip. "I'll take care of it."

"Are you planning to drug him?" Qian Ran looked at her curiously. Zhou Yi's transformation was astonishing—she'd been a model teacher and wife before. It seemed everyone had their weaknesses and could change under the right conditions.

"Hmm. There's a type of medicine that won't harm the body but temporarily… incapacitates a man. He'll return to normal once he stops taking it," Zhou Yi replied, her cheeks flushed.

"Got it," Qian Ran nodded in understanding. This would indeed have little impact on Fang Yu in the long run.

"'No one is more ruthless than a woman.' It's true," Qian Ran mused aloud.

"Hmph. Fine, then, I won't meddle anymore," Zhou Yi huffed, giving him a playful kick.

"Come on. I'm actually supportive of you," Qian Ran reassured her.

Since Fang Yu spent ten days at a time absorbed in his work in the Soul Tool Department's lab, a little more focus wouldn't hurt.

Besides, it was the only way.

Things were already generous enough on his part; it would be disastrous if Fang Yu ever found out.

"Men!"

Zhou Yi saw through it all—men were all the same.

When they were interested, they called you "sweetheart," and when they lost interest, they'd turn on you.

"So, which girls in our class do you like? I'll pretend I don't see anything." Zhou Yi felt helpless, knowing her position was weak. She could only compensate in other ways to please Qian Ran.

"How did Shrek Academy hire such a wicked teacher as you? You're completely unfair, constantly scheming against your own students," Qian Ran laughed, giving Zhou Yi a playful slap.

With Xian Lin'er, the entire Soul Tool Department was already his playground.

Now, Class One was too.

Speaking of Class One, there were indeed many pretty girls. Even though Qian Ran had already claimed a few, the remaining ones were still of high quality. Whether it was the twin sisters or Cui Yajie, they were rare beauties.

Most Shrek Academy students came from prominent families, raised in privilege, which made unattractive girls almost unheard of. Generations of selective breeding had improved their family lines, making it hard for any of them to be anything but attractive.

Qian Ran's focus had been on system-approved "goddesses," so he hadn't bothered with others until now.

But with Zhou Yi around, he could act with complete freedom.

"Hmph. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have done anything unfair," Zhou Yi said.

"The worse you are, the more I like you," Qian Ran whispered, kissing her on the cheek. How could he not be fond of this mischievous woman? After all, she wasn't plotting against him.

"That's more like it," Zhou Yi's brows relaxed, finding herself captivated by Qian Ran's playful grin.

"How about we organize some class activities soon? We've been training for so long; it's time for a break," Qian Ran suggested with a sly smile, fully embracing his own villainous nature.

"In that case, I'll have Mr. Wang Yan take the boys out, and I'll take the girls for an outing. We can say it's for relaxation and team bonding," Zhou Yi suggested, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Since they'll be in the same class for years unless they enter the inner courtyard, it's perfectly reasonable to strengthen class unity early on."

Most of the girls in the class seemed to like Qian Ran, and if he had a preference, she could always facilitate.

But this scoundrel wanted everything—how utterly shameless.

"I think the shore of Sea God Lake would be perfect. It's a great spot for swimming, especially in the summer," Qian Ran mused, amazed at how well Zhou Yi understood his desires.

Naturally, Qian Ran wasn't interested in everyone.

Still, he wanted to take Dong'er and some others to the beach at Sea God Lake in the coming days. The more, the merrier, of course. Besides, why not enjoy the view of the other girls' figures?

A beach day with so many pretty girls would surely be exciting.
