Chapter 300: The Yin-Yang Icefire Eyes and the Icefire Dragon Kings

"Is this enough now?" Cai Meier, her heart brimming with shame, shot a glance toward Ling Luochen.

At this moment, Ling Luochen was fully focused on refining the Iceheart Crystal, entirely oblivious to what was happening around her. In fact, when a Soul Master absorbed soul rings, soul bones, or other rare heavenly treasures, their senses were typically sealed, making it imperative to have someone stand guard.

Cai Meier knew that Ling Luochen wouldn't see or hear anything in her current state; otherwise, she would have at least insisted on moving to another location.

Still, Ling Luochen's presence made Cai Meier's nerves fray.

If she were caught, her dignified reputation would be ruined.

"Come closer," Qian Ran said, swallowing hard to suppress his urge to act rashly. He pushed down his wicked thoughts, knowing that going too far would cross Cai Meier's limits, and she would turn against him immediately.

Although Qian Ran had long wanted to conquer Cai Meier, he wouldn't rush things.

Sitting on the sofa, he reached out to Cai Meier's shapely legs, wrapped in alluring black stockings. The pounding of his heart matched the thrill of his touch.

'Yan Shaozhe is nothing more than a pig who can't appreciate fine grain. He'll never understand the true allure of such a treasure.' Qian Ran relished the silky texture of her stockings, treating them like a rare artifact.

Cai Meier closed her eyes tightly, her cheeks flushed with redness, her legs trembling as she unconsciously pressed them together. Qian Ran's fingers trailed upward from her delicate feet, tracing the curve of her long legs. His hands roamed from her elegant collarbone to her slender, soft neck and, finally, toward her luscious red lips.

Pressing his hand against her shoulder, Qian Ran leaned in to kiss her supple lips.

Cai Meier's emotions were in turmoil, her quivering body revealing her conflicted feelings.

As Qian Ran kissed her, Cai Meier felt a wave of unfamiliar ecstasy washing over her body, leaving her cheeks aglow with a radiant blush.

In that moment, her entire being relaxed.

She had no idea how much time had passed. Lost in Qian Ran's kiss, she forgot everything else—forgot even what Qian Ran had been doing moments earlier.

"You! Is that enough for you now?"

Cai Meier hastily pushed Qian Ran away. If she didn't, she feared she wouldn't be able to stop what might come next.

Some things are unpredictable—even she hadn't anticipated becoming so absorbed in the kiss.

How could she...?

The sensation just now had been so strange. It was the first time she had ever felt something like that.

If it continued, she was honestly afraid.

Qian Ran lowered his gaze, his twisted sense of satisfaction fulfilled as he observed the normally aloof deputy dean of Shrek Academy looking so flustered.

"Dean Cai Meier, you seemed to enjoy it just now. Why the anger now?" Qian Ran teased with a mischievous smile.

"Shut up! I didn't!" Cai Meier snapped, trembling with both shame and anger. Yet, Qian Ran's comment reignited that indescribable feeling, bubbling up in her chest.

Looking at Qian Ran's handsome face and his thin lips, Cai Meier's heart quivered.

This young man... he's far too dangerous.

She had fallen into his grasp so easily.

"Fine, I'll stop teasing you. Quickly, get changed. If Ling Luochen wakes up and sees this, it'll be hard to explain. Of course, if you're into this kind of thrill, I wouldn't mind."

Cai Meier breathed a sigh of relief at his words, grabbing her clothes from the sofa and hastily putting them back on.

Yet, a faint sense of disappointment lingered in her heart. She wasn't hoping for Qian Ran to do anything, but the fact that he could hold himself back so easily made her wonder—was her charm fading?

Moments earlier, she had been desperate to escape Qian Ran's clutches, but now she was second-guessing herself.

Women truly are complicated creatures.

Cai Meier's attire was a standard professional outfit: a gray blazer that did little to conceal her ample chest and a form-fitting gray skirt that accentuated her perfect hips and thighs. Her slender legs, clad in nude stockings, ended in a pair of black high heels.

Qian Ran had already seen everything, and he was well aware of how flawless her figure truly was.

"Now, can you tell me how to evolve my Martial Soul?" Cai Meier asked, glaring at him with her wide, striking eyes.

"It's simple. Your Martial Soul is the Demon-Slaying Dragon Spear. Just find a dragon and absorb its essence to evolve it." Qian Ran's tone was casual, as if offering an obvious suggestion.

"That's it?"

"Are you kidding me?"

Cai Meier froze for a moment before her face flushed red with anger. What kind of advice was that? Didn't she already know this? The issue was that only a powerful dragon—at least one that had cultivated for 100,000 years—would be effective. Dragon souls, dragon blood, and the like were all priceless treasures.

A dragon soul, in particular, would elevate her Demon-Slaying Dragon Spear to rival even Ultimate Martial Souls.

Cai Meier couldn't suppress her soul power, and her formidable aura locked onto Qian Ran. After enduring so much, was this all he had to say?

"Calm down, calm down! I know where you can find a suitable dragon soul," Qian Ran quickly said.

At his words, Cai Meier retracted her overwhelming aura.

"Really?"

"Why would I lie to you? There's a place I know of with two dragon souls. Perfect for you and Liner—one each."

Xian Liner's Martial Soul was the Azure Flame Dragon, while Cai Meier's was the Demon-Slaying Dragon Spear. Both were dragon-type Martial Souls, and obtaining the essence of a powerful dragon soul beast would vastly enhance their strength.

Given their potential, both had a real shot at becoming Ultimate Douluo in the future.

"Tell me, where is it?" Cai Meier asked urgently, eager to seize the opportunity.

"It's a place called the Yin-Yang Icefire Eyes. Dean Cai should know it from the history of the original Shrek Seven Monsters, right? Before participating in the Advanced Soul Master Tournament, they consumed celestial herbs, all of which came from the Yin-Yang Icefire Eyes."

"The Yin-Yang Icefire Eyes?"

Shrek Academy's Sea God Pavilion archives held detailed records of the original Seven Monsters. Since they all eventually became gods, the academy had studied their history meticulously, hoping to uncover clues about godhood. Naturally, Cai Meier was familiar with this part of their story.

"The Yin-Yang Icefire Eyes are one of the three great treasure troves for medicinal herbs. Its unique environment accelerates the growth of rare plants tenfold. Simply put, a ginseng herb that grows for ten years in the Icefire Eyes would have the potency of a hundred years."

"In reality, the Icefire Eyes were formed from the remnants of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King after their deaths. Though their bodies perished, their souls were nourished in the Icefire Eyes over millions of years. You get my drift, right?" Qian Ran said with a sly grin.

In the history of the Douluo Continent, spanning tens of thousands of years, the Icefire Dragon Kings' souls had developed sentience in the Icefire Eyes. The plants and soul beasts there could summon the dragon souls to guard the area. Each dragon soul possessed strength close to a demigod.

It was unclear whether the dragon souls had fully regained consciousness. Even if they had, at most, they'd currently be around the strength of a Titled Douluo. Most likely, however, their sentience hadn't fully awakened yet—otherwise, soul beasts like Huo Yuhao and Tang Wulin wouldn't have been able to pass through unscathed.
