Chapter 383: Huo Yun’er’s Mission

The living room was a scene of enticing allure.

The girls moved gracefully, dressed in minimal, provocative outfits that highlighted their beauty.

Wang Dong'er wore a crimson-and-white bikini, her long, snow-white legs akin to delicious ice cream. Her toned abs and subtle muscle definition showcased her perfect figure, which she flaunted boldly in front of Qian Ran. Cui Yajie, similarly dressed, chose a pink variant, complementing her sweet and innocent demeanor.

Beside Wang Dong'er stood Xiao Xiao, who opted for a sporty ensemble of snug underwear and pink shorts. Though less revealing than the others, her outfit radiated cuteness, accentuated by the white ribbons tied to either side of her hair.

Ning Tian and Wu Feng were hand in hand, wearing blue-and-white and red bikinis respectively. Matching ribbons adorned their thighs and arms, while longer ones twined around their wrists. On their heads were beast-ear accessories that added an adorable, playful touch. They had spent enough time with Qian Ran to know his preferences, and both the thigh bands and animal ears were among his favorites.

Zhu Lu, however, stole the show in a black, sheer bodysuit. Her slender waist and curvaceous figure made her the most striking presence in the room. Her long, toned legs were wrapped in thigh-high black stockings with garters, exuding an unmatched sensuality.

Meanwhile, the Lan sisters, Lan Susu and Lan Luoluo, wore violet miniskirts. Their petite but well-proportioned figures were accentuated by dark purple stockings that clung to their legs. Together, they were a perfect pairing, their charm multiplying when side by side.

"Is this heaven?" Qian Ran thought as he drank in the sight.

Since discovering the Icefire Yin Yang Well, Bing Di and Xue Di had made it their new home, expelling the previous occupant, the Eight-Cornered Ice Grass. The two were soul beasts by nature and preferred extreme environments, even if they occasionally enjoyed human comforts.

Their departure had brought a palpable relief to Wang Dong'er and the others. Knowing Bing Di's immense strength, they had always felt constrained under her watchful presence.

Now, with the house free of their intimidating landlords, things had returned to their usual carefree chaos.

"Maybe I've been neglecting them a little," Qian Ran mused, savoring the sight of the girls vying for his attention. "Still, this beats anything I could've dreamed of in my past life."

"Dance for me," he commanded with a wicked grin, pulling out a camera.

The girls exchanged glances before moving rhythmically, their choreography suggesting they had planned this performance well in advance.

Qian Ran barely lasted a few minutes before succumbing to their charm.

After indulging himself, Qian Ran distributed the celestial herbs from the Icefire Yin Yang Well.

Though these treasures were immensely potent, Wang Dong'er and the others decided to save them for later. Having recently absorbed spirit bones, their cultivation levels had already skyrocketed. Using the herbs too soon would be inefficient, especially with several nearing the Soul Ancestor breakthrough. It was better to wait until they advanced to maximize the herbs' effects.

As Qian Ran stepped outside, he was confronted by a red-eyed Huo Yuhao. Whether his eyes were bloodshot from anger or tears was unclear.

"Qian Ran, did you steal the Icefire Yin Yang Well?"

Qian Ran smirked at the seething youth. Huo Yuhao had already endured several humiliations: the loss of Xue Di, now the looting of the well. His frustration was palpable.

"So what if I did?" Qian Ran replied, his tone dripping with mockery.

The sight of Huo Yuhao brought to mind Huo Yun'er, the mother who had been Huo Yuhao's guiding light. She had been his one true source of affection, and her death had left a void so deep that he had even changed his surname to Huo in her honor.

"What if Yun'er reappeared by his side?" Qian Ran mused, amused by the thought of how Huo Yuhao would react.

"Qian Ran, have you no shame? Do you even know how precious the treasures in that well were? Do you think you can use all of them?" Huo Yuhao's voice trembled with rage.

Qian Ran's nonchalant greed was infuriating. If he had left even a small portion, Huo Yuhao might have begrudgingly accepted it. But taking everything? It was unbearable.

"None of your business. Even if I used them to make soup, it wouldn't concern you," Qian Ran said with a sneer. "And if you keep whining, I might just give you another beating."

"You—!"

Huo Yuhao's fists clenched tightly as his body trembled with fury.

But after a long pause, he sighed and walked away, his shoulders slumped. Deep down, he had known confronting Qian Ran would lead nowhere. He had only come to vent his frustrations, but even that felt futile.

"Yun'er, come here."

Qian Ran called out through his communicator. Within seconds, Huo Yun'er, dressed in her maid uniform, appeared at his side.

"Did you see Yuhao just now?" Qian Ran asked, his tone playful.

Huo Yun'er nodded, her expression calm but her words sharp. "Yes, but I belong to you now, Master. I have no attachment to the Dai family, let alone that bastard child of theirs."

Her gaze softened as she looked at Qian Ran, her voice filled with devotion and disdain for her former life.

"Good. I have a special mission for you," Qian Ran said, a devious grin spreading across his face.

"You're going to return to Huo Yuhao's side."

His mind raced with possibilities. Huo Yuhao's tragic backstory had always painted him as the ultimate underdog, the one who endured endless suffering yet emerged triumphant. Qian Ran couldn't resist the urge to upend that narrative.

"With Huo Yun'er by his side, Yuhao will max out his 'suffering protagonist' stats. And me? I get to be the meddlesome 'yellow-haired villain.' This is going to be fun."
