Rui Beast wandered with a heavy heart, mulling over what the Silver Dragon King had told her.
She never imagined that her soul had been tampered with.
But what puzzled her even more was how Qian Ran could have known about such a deeply hidden truth. Was Qian Ran even more powerful than Gu Yuena herself?
"With the Master here, as long as I don't fuse with that person, I should be fine, right? The Master said that Tang Wutong's soul fragment won't affect my personality or memory, so I should still be myself," Rui Beast muttered. Finally, the realization brought her a sense of relief.
Her curiosity, however, was piqued. For the first time, she wondered about Wang Dong'er, someone she had never met.
According to Gu Yuena, Wang Dong'er was the true vessel of Tang Wutong, only missing a portion of her soul. If Rui Beast and Wang Dong'er were to merge, Tang Wutong would fully manifest.
"Wang Dong'er… does that make her my sister?"
"Ugh, I don't want to think about this anymore." Rui Beast shook her head, banishing the philosophical dilemma caused by the fusion of her soul with Tang Wutong's fragment. At least for now, she was still herself.
Suddenly, Rui Beast's ears perked up. "Wait… what's that sound?"
All three of her eyes widened as a strange noise reached her. The golden glow of her Destiny Eye activated, granting her a clear view of the interior of Qian Ran's room.
The sight left her stunned.
Innocent and untouched by worldly matters, Rui Beast froze as the scene unfolded before her. Her pure nature meant she had never considered such things—not even the prospect of mating or producing offspring.
Her prideful disposition had always placed her above even someone like Di Tian.
Initially confused, Rui Beast quickly pieced together what Qian Ran and Zi Ji were doing.
"Zi Ji!"
She couldn't believe her eyes.
"How could Zi Ji be doing this with Qian Ran? Isn't Di Tian pursuing her? And didn't Zi Ji seem to have feelings for him?"
Yet here she was, having been claimed by Qian Ran—someone who had only just arrived in the Star Dou Forest.
This wasn't what shocked Rui Beast the most, though. The act itself, and the visceral nature of it, struck her deeply.
Her body, once cold and unfeeling, now reacted strangely to what she saw. Despite her initial instinct to look away, Rui Beast found herself compelled to keep watching.
Qian Ran's labored breathing, the soft moans escaping Zi Ji's lips, and the forbidden visuals unfolding before her—it was overwhelming for her immature mind.
And Qian Ran's physique—his chiseled features and perfectly sculpted body—captured her attention more than she cared to admit.
"What a… pervert."
"This guy is definitely no good. Zi Ji must have been coerced."
She continued to watch, her curiosity overpowering her better judgment, until the scene neared its conclusion. Only then, overwhelmed by shame, did she quietly retreat. Her movements were slow and careful, as though afraid of being discovered.
"How could I do such a thing? Sneaking around like this… what's wrong with me?"
Far from the room, Rui Beast lay on the ground, her face flushed as the vivid images lingered in her mind.
She had always been repelled by such things. But now…
"Is it because of Qian Ran? But I've only just met him! What's so special about him?" Rui Beast buried her face in her hands, lost in thought.
Back in the room, Qian Ran noticed Rui Beast leaving and chuckled to himself.
"So even Rui Beast has a voyeuristic streak? I never would have guessed. My charm really is unstoppable these days."
Feeling smug, Qian Ran couldn't help but marvel at his own perfection.
His body was as close to flawless as any mortal—or even divine—being could achieve.
After putting on a pair of shorts, Qian Ran strolled to the door and flung it open.
"Ah!"
Both Ice Emperor and Snow Emperor, caught red-handed peeking through the door, flinched in surprise.
Disheveled and flustered, Snow Emperor immediately averted her gaze, her face turning scarlet. Ice Emperor, meanwhile, managed to regain her composure quickly, though her cheeks were still tinged with red.
"Hmph! That woman rushed to you so quickly—so shameless." Ice Emperor pouted, crossing her arms.
Inside the room, Zi Ji heard Ice Emperor's voice and felt both embarrassed and angry.
"Damn it! I was so eager to see Qian Ran that I forgot Snow Emperor and Ice Emperor were staying nearby!" Zi Ji fumed inwardly.
"Now they've seen everything!"
"Ice Emperor, do you think I'm afraid of you?" Zi Ji, mortified by Ice Emperor's words, snapped back indignantly.
"Afraid of you? Please. Don't think that just because your strength has improved you can take me on. You're still far from my level," Ice Emperor retorted smugly. Though Zi Ji had grown stronger, Ice Emperor's far superior cultivation and mastery of an ultimate attribute left her unshaken.
"What's with all the noise? If you don't stop, I might have to enforce some discipline." Qian Ran's eyes swept over Ice Emperor's petite yet perfectly proportioned figure, taking note of her short skirt and her bare legs, toned and smooth.
Ice Emperor's small stature was more than compensated by her delicate and balanced proportions, making her irresistibly alluring.
Blushing, Ice Emperor fell silent. Qian Ran's "discipline" was something even she dreaded. Zi Ji, though unfamiliar with the term, didn't dare test Qian Ran's patience either.
With the room finally quiet, Qian Ran wrapped an arm around Snow Emperor's waist and scooped her up in a bridal carry. Snow Emperor, overwhelmed with embarrassment, stayed motionless in his arms as her scent mingled with those of Ice Emperor and Zi Ji.
"Who would have thought that three of the Ten Great Beasts would be here, in such a… cozy setting?"
The thought amused Qian Ran greatly.
"It seems that with Bi Ji, the Four Great Beasts will be complete."
The idea filled him with satisfaction. Compared to these rare beauties, any so-called once-in-a-century mortal beauty paled in comparison. These legendary soul beasts were the epitome of perfection—ten-thousand-year miracles in both power and allure.
Pulling Ice Emperor and Zi Ji into the room as well, Qian Ran made sure none of them were left idle…
Under his dominant presence, Ice Emperor and Zi Ji's mutual hostility melted away, leaving no room for further argument.
