Outside the city, the Abyss's influence still loomed, but the oppressive weight felt less suffocating, as if the city's core had lent them some of its strength.

"We have a mission now," Daniel said, his voice steady. "Find the veins of the Abyss, sever them, and gather allies to stop this before it spreads beyond control."

Mira nodded, her grip tightening on her blade. "But where do we even start? Ithrial was a miracle to find. How do we track the veins across a world this vast?"

"By following the signs," Lirien said, her tone thoughtful. "The Abyss doesn't hide its corruption. Where it spreads, the world suffers. We'll look for regions in turmoil, unnatural occurrences, or places where life itself has begun to wither."
