Weekend Double Chapters!!!
------***------
Facing this sudden attack, the seven little monsters were caught off guard and quickly isolated into several battle zones.
Dai Mubai was alone against a level 42 Soul Ancestor and a level 39 Soul Grandmaster, with an additional support-type Soul Master joining in to buff them.
Not long after the fight began, he was slapped far away, a trickle of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.
"Damn, you're really going all out," he cursed under his breath. He first activated his third soul skill, White Tiger King's Vajra Transformation, followed by his second soul skill, White Tiger's Fierce Light Wave, clashing head-on with the two. For a moment, he didn't seem to be at a clear disadvantage.
Compared to him, the other battle zones were far worse.
Xiao Wu was surrounded by six people. When girls fight, they can be much fiercer than boys.
Some pulled her hair, others tore at her clothes, and one even concentrated her soul power into her fingers, aiming to claw at Xiao Wu's face, clearly intending to disfigure her.
At first, Xiao Wu relied on her agility to dodge and weave among them, occasionally managing to kick one or two away.
But then, the only male Soul Master among them smirked, seized the opportunity, and grabbed her from behind. Seeing the chance, one of the female Soul Masters clenched her fist and punched Xiao Wu in the stomach.
Tang San, facing five opponents, glanced at Xiao Wu, who was being held by the man, and grew increasingly anxious. He immediately activated his Blue Silver Grass.
Five thick strands of Blue Silver Grass burst from the ground, binding the five in front of him. He wanted to rush to Xiao Wu's aid.
But with his current soul power, restraining a single Soul Master stronger than him was already a stretch. Binding five at once was impossible.
The five Soul Masters activated their soul power simultaneously, and the Blue Silver Grass binding them tightened before quickly snapping apart.
Seeing this tactic fail, Tang San took a step back, his left hand reaching for the Twenty-Four Bridge Moon Night at his waist, pulling out a crossbow. But after a moment's thought, he put it away.
These were his fellow students. If he seriously injured them, it would only cause trouble for Master and the others.
In that moment of hesitation, the five Soul Masters charged at him, fists aimed at his head.
"For the Spider God's blessing!" one of them shouted, and the five of them seemed to gain even more energy, striking harder.
At such close range, with his soul power suppressed and outnumbered five to one, all Tang San could do was circulate his Mysterious Heaven Skill to protect his body.
Half of the five Soul Masters were tempted by Fang Chang's offer, while the other half had long held a grudge. The more they fought, the fiercer they became, their fists and feet relentlessly striking Tang San.
A loud Crack echoed as one of Tang San's bones broke. The five finally snapped out of their frenzy, stopping and taking a small step back.
Tang San's right leg was twisted unnaturally at the knee, swollen and discolored. He gritted his teeth, clutching his leg, his body curled up in pain, cold sweat dripping down his face.
The five Soul Masters exchanged glances, unsure who had dealt the final blow.
Seeing them step back, the lower-level Soul Masters in their twenties rushed forward, continuing to beat Tang San.
The five took the opportunity to turn and support other battle zones, leaving this mess behind.
"Stop hitting! You're kicking my D!" Oscar was sprawled over Ning Rongrong, doing his best to shield her. Four Soul Masters were kicking him like a sandbag.
In no time, his body was covered in footprints. His voice grew weaker, his body limp, but his arms still tightly held Ning Rongrong.
"How dare you! My father is the Seven…" Ning Rongrong shouted in desperation, but before she could finish, a soul power strike hit her face, knocking out two teeth and swelling her cheek.
Ma Hongjun and Zhu Zhuqing fared slightly better. Knowing they were outmatched, they ran back, but were still chased and beaten by several Soul Masters, sustaining some injuries.
Perhaps someone had reported the situation, as a loud shout came from the distance, and Liu Erlong's figure rushed over. "What are you all doing?!"
Only then did the students stop, turning to flee.
"All of you, stay where you are!" Liu Erlong roared, seeing the battered Seven Freaks, especially Tang San, who was lying on the ground, barely breathing.
How was she going to explain this to Grandmaster…
Flender, Zhao Wuji, and Grandmaster arrived soon after, helping the heavily injured Seven Freaks to their feet, their eyes blazing with anger.
"Who did this? Step forward!" Liu Erlong was furious.
Seeing her like this, none of the students dared to move, standing with their heads lowered.
"No one wants to admit it? Should I expel all of you?" Liu Erlong's anger only grew.
A few older students from the advanced class gritted their teeth and stepped forward. They were close to graduation and didn't care much about the academy's punishment.
After all, they were already at the Soul Grandmaster level. If they received the Spider God's blessing, they could live comfortably outside the academy.
Seeing them take the lead, the other students who had participated in the beating stepped forward one by one. Even those who hadn't joined in but disliked the Seven Freaks' privileged status also stepped forward.
Over a hundred people stood in front of the cafeteria, looking directly at Liu Erlong.
"We did it. Punish us if you must!" Their voices were uneven but carried a powerful force, even stunning Liu Erlong.
She looked at the students, momentarily speechless. When the academy's name was changed, she had anticipated some dissatisfaction.
After all, Blue Tyrant Academy sounded more imposing and could even borrow some prestige from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon family. It was clearly a better name than Shrek Academy.
It was like a university originally named "XX University XX Branch" suddenly changing its name to "Lanxiang XX Academy" or "Shuguang XX Academy"…
Anyone would be unhappy, but she hadn't expected the students' resentment to reach this level.
However, as the saying goes, "the law does not punish the masses." Almost half of her students were here. If she punished them too harshly, it would only fuel their rebelliousness.
She looked pleadingly at Grandmaster and Flender.
Flender was so angry his beard bristled. He was never good at managing academy affairs, and this situation left him helpless. But seeing his students beaten like this, he couldn't swallow his anger.
Grandmaster examined Tang San's leg injury, reset the broken bone, and fixed it in place. He glanced at the students, then at the conflicted Liu Erlong, and waved his hand, signaling, "Let it go."
Liu Erlong sighed in relief. "Everyone, disperse! You'll be punished later!"
After this, she approached apologetically, standing silently beside Grandmaster like a parent apologizing for their child's mischief.
Unfortunately, Fang Chang missed this dramatic scene. He was still hiding in the basement, planning his next move.
The Shrek Seven Freaks couldn't be killed for now, but they couldn't be allowed to thrive either. At the very least, their growth had to be suppressed.
And the best way to suppress them now was to leverage the growing influence of the Spider God Church…
