New Teacher

The staff meeting at Martsit Boys and Girls College had dragged late into the evening, but the air in the conference room remained heavy with unresolved issues.

Rev. Abraham, the school chaplain and a prominent figure in the administration, leaned over the table with an expression of exasperation. "It’s high time we peg these boys down,” he said, his voice sharp. “The terrorism and lawlessness in this school are becoming unbearable. On the surface, we’re the most reputable school in the region. But deep down? This is Sin City.”The other members of the school’s senior staff nodded grimly, their faces a mix of concern and resignation.

“We’ve tried everything,” said another teacher. “We brought in paramilitary personnel and other deterrents, but it hasn’t worked. These boys are relentless.”

“And then there’s the issue of defilement,” said a woman from the corner of the room. Her tone was cold.
