The cavern lay shrouded in an unsettling silence, as if life had never touched its stone walls. The colossal dragon that once filled the space was gone, along with the shimmering treasures and even the key. Even the pedestal where the key had rested was gone too, as well as the door. All that remained was an oppressive stillness, punctuated only by faint rays of light that filtered through the cavern's roof.
Shania furrowed her brow, glancing around with a flicker of uncertainty. "Are we in the right place?" she murmured, scanning the desolate cavern. "It looks... empty."
"It appears the dragon was no ordinary dragon, but a goddess disguised as a dragon to lead us to the One. This was all planned." Leor replied, his gaze distant, as if already piecing together what this revelation might mean for them. "Even El wanted us to go to the One. It seems our work here is done."
