As the helmeted knights approached, their obsidian armor glinting menacingly in the dim light, Leor and his companions readied themselves to attack.

"Blasted Chaosborn!" Shania cursed under her breath, her hands on the hilts of her swords.

"Perhaps they might pose a better challenge," Corvus added, his eyes fixed intently on the approaching knights.

Seraphina's voice was steady, but laced with a hint of concern. "They seem to be more powerful than the all the rest."

Azarath snarled. "We'll find out soon enough."

Before the group could utter another word, the knights froze in place, like statues frozen in time. Even the twisted legions of creatures that filled the landscape of Xal'dar's realm, froze as well.

"What in the fucking hell..." Corvus trailed off, his voice barely above a whisper.
