Alexander's eyes slowly opened, groggily taking in his surroundings. He found himself in his apartment bedroom, but the familiarity brought no comfort. His head pounded relentlessly—a throbbing reminder of the previous night's excesses.

With a mixture of trepidation and determination, Alexander swung his legs over the side of the bed and planted his feet firmly on the ground. He stood up, his movements cautious, and began his journey downstairs.

As he descended, his gaze fell upon Tyler, who was busy expertly flipping pancakes in the kitchen. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the air, but Alexander's churning stomach rebelled at the thought of food.

Tyler looked up, his eyes locking onto Alexander's, and a warm smile spread across his face.

"Good morning," Tyler said, his voice cheerful. "I know your head's pounding, so come and drink this hangover remedy."

He placed a glass of murky liquid on the table, and Alexander's eyebrows rose skeptically.
