Chapter 78

As morning dawned, Ivy's eyes fluttered open, her gaze falling on Victor's chest. She lifted her head, her eyes locking onto his.

Victor's eyes, bright and intense, met hers.

Ivy's cheeks flushed as she realized he'd been watching her sleep.

A soft smile spread across her face.

"You said I wasn't attractive enough to make you hard," Ivy's voice trembled.

Victor's expression turned introspective.

He gently rolled onto his side, pulling Ivy beneath him.

His fingers traced the curve of her face, pushing stray strands of hair behind her ear.

"Believe me, Ivy." Victor's voice was laced with emotion. "You're the only woman who's ever made me lose control. From the very beginning, I've been drawn to you."

His eyes burned with intensity.

"I lied that day, Ivy. I lied to myself, too. I didn't want to admit how deeply I'd fallen for you."
